Will Shavkat avenge Neil Magny or will he fail

I am leaning towards Ian Garry win via decision. I think Shavkat is gonna get battered standing and I think Shavkat will eventually regret taking this fight with Ian Garry on short notice

Feel like I'm missing something here

Some fans have been hate watching Ian Garry since he tormented Neil Magny but it was mostly unsuccessful hate-watch. Ian Garry is a great fighter and have been winning since that fight.

90% of Ian Garry detectors were born on the night he fought Neil Magny

To be fair, he was being disrespectful.
He was saying Neil looked like he didn't even belong or looked like an amateur or something like that. Which is true but he did him dirty by saying that in the Octagon post fight interview.

Neil Magny said Ian Garry looked like didn't even belong or looked like an amateur in the Octagon post fight interview?

I just don't think that Magny, Neal and Thompson (at his current form) are that great wins.

Sure it's impressive he finished all of them, but he didn't want to strike with Thompson and Neal did give him some trouble.

Now it may be the case he really is a world beater, I just don't think we can decide he's the next best WW in the world based off of what we've seen so far.

Garry and him have similar names on their resume based off of skill. If anything Garry's is a little deeper once you look past their last 3 wins.

Fixed, thanks :D
I Wish Neil said that, though.

To call him the next best WW is a stretch but at the same time, going 18-0 with all finishes doesn't happen by accident. Personally, I think he makes quick work of Ian and that'll only fuel the hype train he's currently riding.

He also couldn't really wrestle against Neal from a lower body injury, and still managed a W and a finish against a tough opponent despite part of his game being completely cut off.

Of course, just theorising my opinion and hopefully will be pleasantly proven wrong

He's definitely not bullet proof. That's for sure. But Ian's last performance wall and stalling mvp also was not fantastic. And likely won't work against shavkat. They're both going to likely be challenged here. Ian by a pressure he can't just clinch his way out of, and rakhmonov by some pretty good long range strikes he needs to keep his chin protected from
