Social Will the government shutdown tomorrow?

But the politicians on the hill are still getting paid right?
How fast would they solve this shit if they also had to work with no pay?
Or since they are not really essential... sitting home with no pay.
They obviously shouldn't get paid, and taxes should be 0 while it's shut down. They shut down for a month, that's 8.3% deducted from my federal tax liability.

Your logic is astounding.

By not allowing more illegal benefits and crippling us with more debt we will turn into Russia.

Ooookay.

Hey, so now that Republicans are in control of the entire government and all the illegals are being removed from the country, when do the positive impacts of that kick in? I mean, we're $37 trillion in debt, cost of living sucks, housing prices are heinous, wages suck, et cetera, et cetera.

So when, exactly, will that be getting better? Should be pretty soon, huh?

Well, I got some bad news for ya...

That said, what good do you think it will do them? The longer it goes on, the worse it will be for them. This is appeasing crazy radicals on Reddit, and nobody else. Trump's having a ball with it.
Haven’t you noticed? @Zazen is one of those crazy radicals

Why are you dragging me into this? You’re wrong. The Republicans are facing more heat because of the shutdown and it’s reflected in polling. It’s also just common sense. They control the government, they’ve ignored court orders, and they spent the last few months demonizing and calling dems weak which they are to be fair. I just don’t think the majority are going to blame the left on this one.
