Why won't they pass a clean bill.
Why do you think it's a clean bill? Is that what you've heard, or have you actually researched the bill and noted the changes therein?
"The GOP stopgap passed Friday, dubbed a “clean” continuing resolution (CR) by Republicans, extends government funding at current levels through Nov. 21, with some other bipartisan measures attached."
If its not what are they objecting to in the bill. The only thing I have heard from them id they want things added to pass it.
Are you relieved now that you got that off your chest? Is this thread a trick question? Wouldn't the US government shut down on October 1st, not September 30th? If so, the answer is "no" to the troll that created this thread. It will shut down in 2 days on October 1st.
Are you still not ashamed that you're a degenerate MAGA supporter? Are you relieved now that you got that off your chest?
No. Why would I be? Am I supposed to some cringe leftist like yourself, who can't tell the difference between men and women, and think law and order is racist n' shit? LOL. You got a looooong bridge to walk, before I take your hand. Are you still not ashamed that you're a degenerate MAGA supporter?

Omg….
Democrats threatening to shutdown the government unless they can bring back funding to give healthcare to illegals, which they originally said was misinformation… among other things.
But seems they have backed themselves into a corner. Trump and his team are saying to bring it, and if you shut it down, we will just fire the jobs that are subject to the shutdown.
If it is shutdown, there are 100k federal workers or contractors that state they will retire.
Interesting how it will turn out politically. Seems trump and Russ Vought are fine either way, so will be interesting to see if Schumer and the democrats cave last minute. Fetterman is currently the only democrat that says he will vote for the CR
Edit: just to note, the democrats are asking for an additional 1.5 trillion added to the budget
100,000 federal workers to resign Tuesday in largest mass departure from US government under Trump administration cuts - The Economic Times
More than 100,000 federal workers will formally resign Tuesday under Trump's deferred resignation program, marking the largest single-year decline in civilian federal employment since World War II. The program affects 275,000 total employees across multiple agencies, costing $14.8 billion while...m.economictimes.com
We don't need 80% of the federal gov. They won't shut down for long or else everyone realizes how we don't really need them.
Traveling by air with no TSA is awesome. When they shut down under Obama I was taking multiple flights over those few days and my airport experience was magical
FAFOExactly. In my adult life, there have been a few shutdowns, including 2 during Trump’s first term. I didn’t notice it then or during Obama. It just gives more ammo for Trump firing all these people that the SCOTUS basically just said he could, it to mention Office of Management and Budget also having the power the trim the fat.
It is the perfect hand to be dealt
normal people don't subscribe to this, level headed folks are being pushed out by radicals
What Schumer and all of the democrats (except Fetterman) need to understand is that you need to make an offer that has a greater than 0% chance of being accepted.
