Definitely a money fight, but I think Khabib vs Ferguson would also be a big draw as well.

Doesn't seem right to me that Conor would get a second chance at the title ahead of someone else, especially since it wasn't a controversial decision.

It would draw 500k Max I’m betting where Conor Khabib rematch pulls at least as much as last fight.

Conor can spin that he lost his drive, thought he was invincible yada yada and is coming back on the for real now.

I see a lot of talk about McGregor fighting Diaz, Mayweather, and Khabib next, but those fights wont happen.

Lets talk about Diaz first. Yes, the UFC can make money off this fight, but if Conor loses at LW to a fringe top 10 Nate Diaz his career will be over. The UFC realizes this is not the time.

The Mayweather fight has zero appeal with Mcgregor coming off a loss. He's not even a champion of his own sport how can you possibly sell another cross over boxing match with Mayweather? This fight wont sell and everyone knows now is not the time.

Khabib wont happen because the result was definitive AND he will be getting suspended or stripped.

That leaves only one fight, Tony Ferguson for the LW belt. Ferguson has to get the title shot with his most recent win. If Conor wins this positions the UFC to have a big money Conor/Khabib rematch once his suspension is served, OR if Ferguson wins to finally have Khabib/Ferguson.

Ultimately I put the odds ay 95% that Conor faces Ferguson next for some type of belt. The other 5% is if the UFC is Dumb enough to have Conor face Diaz again.

Khabib will get a big fine and an insignificant suspension. It will be Khabib vs Fergie in late January/Early February.

Conor will either have his trilogy fight with Diaz, or some obnoxious, completely unjustified inaugural 165 lbs title fight with GSP.

Conor's only smart move is to go back down in weight. Recapture the 145 belt, defend the title, and then return to 155. Otherwise he's just going to become a gatekeeper at 155. He is officially 2-2 against 155lb fighters. (Nate is a 155lb fighter for the noobs who think otherwise)

In the meantime Khabib should fight Fergie, then the winner of Nate vs Poirer, then move up to challenge T Woodley, And IF he wins, challenge GSP. Not sure if he'd make it past Woodley though.

He’s said over and over again he’s not fighting 170, said Woodley would wreck him at 170 and is way to big.

Also said he would never fight gsp at 170 but his dream is to fight him at 155 where he is king

His trainer has already said, as I already knew, that conor will not take any other fight, except khabib...khabib might get 3-6 month suspension..so the fight will be spring..probably in March or early April...anyone that thinks there won't be a rematch or that tony will fight khabib next are delusional...this has nothing to do with who deserves it...of course tony deserves it...tony has a great winning streak..but think of this way...if this ppv. did over 2 million ppv buys, that's probably more than all ppv's combined in the last 2 years...that's way too much money to ignore.

Khabib is getting suspended or stripped. Hence, they will make Mcgregor/Ferguson. Even by UFC money grabbing standards, they have to give Ferguson his title shot. Mcgregor/Ferguson for a belt solves both problems and sets up a big money unification bout.

Khabib will be suspended for 3-4 months, won't get stripped, and will fight Fergie in late January/early Feb. I would not expect to see Conor until April/May at the earliest.
