russia had 13 medals in 2018 world champion ships in budapest where sadulayev whooped snyder. 10 golds 1 silver 2 bronze. most of those medals came from the caucasus region of russia. and greco is actually very applicable to mma. best clinch takedown artists are greco guys. you can easily incorporate trips to your clinch work. randy couture was probably the best clinch takedown guy who many fighters including khabib copy and he came from greco. they have the best upperbody ability to takedown whether you like it or not.

ANY RANDOM WRESTLING CLUB. i know what im talking about cause i have been there. and btw most mma fighters from the caucasus train with the olympic teams of their states and/or invite champion level wrestlers to train with them and its way cheaper than in the usa, its almost free LOL. so yeah khabib has access to way better wrestlers than gregor can ever dream of training with.
i just proved to you 5 medals of last years world championships are from the caucasus 4 of them from dagestan alone. the population of dagestan is 3 million. penn state is considered the best wrestling state in the usa? how many world champions did it have last world championships? its population is 12 mil. makhachkala population is 500-600k people. there arent that many gyms around and its producing a huge amount of world champions meaning for every guy the won a medal there 10s or 100s who didnt. there arent that many gyms in a 500k city and there are tons of guys with huge wrestling talents,even guys coming from other russian states or even countries to train there. being an olympic champion or a world champion in wrestling or something else isnt even that big of a deal there LOL.
the population really do matter. you didnt qualify for the world cup means youre less likely to find talent in soccer clubs than you are in spain or brazil. are you this thick? a country of 3 million producing this many world champions is more likely to have people who are higher level than gregor in its gym than lets say china. you cant be this thick can you?? damn bro... the talent pool in dagestan is way bigger than usa. the wrestling gyms in dagestan are stacked with more talent than the best wrestling states in usa multiplied by 50 times. as i said how many champion ships did penn state of 12 millions have last championships?
