Why only $15 an hour?

You're one of, if not, the worst poster on here. You and your bum life insults are below my pay grade.

You're calling another poster one of the worst posters on here.

I mean you're absolute garbage day in and day out @kpt018 is by far a much much better poster than you can ever hope to be.

And there is no way you do anything with your life thst isn't minimum wage hour work

Wrong.

Manufacturing deserves an increase in pay. I said that already.

Why if the result is the same? Us overpaying for shit.

Overpaying for minimum wage jobs is unacceptable because it raises the cost of goods but overpaying for other jobs is acceptable even as it raises the cost of goods. You're going to have to explain that.

It's not the same, the incoming administration is lowering taxes in order to get business to hire more workers and expand, this creating more competition here in the U.S. Manufacturing is also more important than some bum serving a burger to some other fat bum because he doesn't want to cook it himself. A burger serving bum doesn't deserve the same rate of pay as another guy working in a factory producing something of importance.

I work at the MacDonald's. I want $33.33 and hour.

That's a little much but I would gladly pay slightly more for thst poison if you got a pay raise.

Unlike you I don't look down on a segment of the population thst drives a multi billion dollar fast food industry.

Got it, you have no idea what you're talking about.

I don't care about administrations. I'm asking you why you thinking overpaying is only a bad idea when minimum wage workers are benefiting but you want to overpay for some shit that could be outsourced or automated.

Pay manufacturing labor minimum wage and we get to keep the jobs and not overpay for shit. You'd get on board with that right...right?

I'm not looking down on it. I'm saying they don't deserve $15 an hour. Plain and simple.

Can someone point to one time in American hisotry that a minimum wage increase brought the doom and gloom the republicans say it will bring?

The only people who fight this historically have been conservatives and rich business owners. Yet they've been proven wrong every single time

I think they do. I think their raises should've went up with everything else that has increased in America.

Also a well paid middle class does nothing but improve our country across the board.

My turn.

Do you agree with paying someone $15 an hour to flip a burger?

Then move to a state that gives you $15 an hour.

No. I also believe that we should be outsourcing jobs that can be done cheaper elsewhere. I don't believe that most manufacturing work is worth what the labor wants to charge for it.

So back to my question - why are you willing to overpay for some people but you want to shaft people on minimum wage?

My position is consistent. Yours isn't.

Even JVS has said many times that raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour is nonsense and it was probably his biggest criticism of Bernie.

This response has nothing to do with a hill of beans.

Keep practicing "what type of sauce would you like with that, mild, hot, spicy, super hot." That's you at a Taco Bell drive thru when you work

Your insults are pretty shitty.

That's not what I said now is it.

I asked a simple question of when in American history did it bring the destruction the rich carpet bangers said it would bring.

Also a gradual raise would most likely be the smart move. Not some instant jump to 20 an hour.
