As funny and exaggerated as this sounds but I'm pretty convinced that we do have some impostors among us who pretend to be fans of other fighters but are in reality Kabib/Islame trolls who just want to sound more trustable when they give their praise to their boyz.

The most obvious one was our former and rightfully banned user Gooseman, who pretended to be a Gaethje fan but did nothing other than roam around Kabib/Islam threads and praise them and attack all who dared to critisize them. He barely spoke about Justin and mostly mentioned him when he needed a direct or idirect link to Kabib and how good he was because of subbing Justin.

I see some others as well which now pretend to be fans of other fighters but who have the exact same agenda and also 1:1 articulation and also wording when it comes to certain topics.

sure buddy, being a fan of someone doesn't mean you have to lie when it comes to certain topics just to "protect" your fighter. Khamzat having criminal charges because he beat a security officer who only did his job is one of them, him lying about his refugee status is another one of the things which are a shadow over him and can be mentioned without degrading him as a fighter and his fighting spirit.

I'm also the biggest CroCop fan on this side and yet you will find posts of me where I talk shit about him.

Last week IVlam and his fans were not interested in that rematch. They were saying Charles needs to win another fight and someone new needs to fight for the title.
Also Volks needed to fight Topuria or take an another contender in the 155 division, before the rematch.

Now when Charles and Volks are out of the Abu Dhabi scedule, the narrative has changet. Now they are afraid, ducking or making excuses. WTF?

Identity has always been a huge part of combat sports fandom. Mexicans love to watch Canelo, Irishmen love to watch Conor, black folks love to cheer for Floyd. People enjoy watching boxers/mma artists who they can relate to and share something in common with, it’s baked into the DNA of combat sports. So there is absolutely nothing weird in Muslims taking an interest in Khabib, he’s a devout Muslim and other devout Muslims can relate to him. I hate that the UFC plays these games. If they postpone all the contract negotiations for 6-5weeks out, it is unfair and disrespectful for both, the champ and especially the challenger.
They should just give the fight to Arman. He is willing to take it and at least has now more time to prepare than he had last time.
