Why is Dana throwing a tantrum over Merab/Aljo?

Its for legacy plus hes aware how hateful and trollish you guys are. its bad enough you guys thought he was a fluke champion,
Now he has to prove to you all what he can really do. Its yall fault actually. maybe had yall treated him with more respect he'd be
satisfied in moving up BUT NOPE. he suffered from a low self esteem growing up and yall made it worse.

but like i said PAY ALJO and i bet my savings he will move up. he dont even gotta get a title shot just pay him like what they just
paid to go up. thats the cost of doing business. Yall cant have it both ways you cant discredit a person then get irritated when they
want a rematch. HE HAS THE RIGHT TO ONE, and you all know it. he beat former double champ Olympian wrestler, TJ DILLASHAW and Yan =
title shot rematch.

I've legitimately been one of the most vocal fans of Aljo on this forum. You can take all of that somewhere else lol. It makes no sense to lobby for a rematch when you'd likely vacate immediately. Especially considering a good friend is waiting for his turn.

Aljo would move up if he got the title, he was doing so before, and there's no reason to think he wouldn't if he won the title again. The only reason he's staying is because he realizes that coming off a loss means he would have to grind at FW for a while.

He said this, this is not speculation. It makes no sense for the UFC to give Aljo another shot.

Aljo was moving up after CCC but stayed again because he thought O'malley was an easy fight. Now he lost and destroyed his own legacy. He knows he won't be successful at 145 now and won't go anywhere near them. The Volk fight is dead for him.

The volk fight aint dead for him, thats still an interesting fight. Hence if he got the rematch he'd clean sugas clocks and then get that rematch.

Dana doesn't like when fighters won't fight each other even if there are plenty of other options and he gets tunnel vision and acts really stupid and petty. Whoever doesn't get the title shot can fight Vera, Sandhagen or Cejudo.

Aljo lost that fight when he got beaten by O'malley. No chance we ever see Aljo vs Volk when he has Islam and Topuria in the radar.

Aljo won't get paid anything because he has arguably lost 3/4 last wins. he tried to be exciting and got destroyed. The issue with winning via control time is nobody wants to watch that type of fight. Once you lose, it's over.

Except I don't see any problem here. Aljo and Merab are 1 and 2. They aren't holding up the division and giving either guy a title shot will immediately resolve the situation.

Merab turned it down because Aljo is his friend and he wants Aljo to get a rematch first, while he waits. That's what this is about.

100% it's dead. Volk isn't fighting Aljo ever now. He would need to stay at 135 and go on another title defence run for it to sell at all. Volk has people to beat in his division and guys at 155 to fight when he goes back up. Aljo lost that fight whilst Volk is champ.

Dude, your hopeless. They have both been in the top 10 for a while now and it hasn't been an issue and I don't see it being an issue in the next 1-2 years either. Give Merab the title shot if O'malley plans on fighting this year, if not and they want to do the rematch then do that and whoever doesn't get the title shot will risk someone else fighting again and winning and getting the next shot after that. Either way there is no hold up in terms of the champion having to wait for a contender.

With khabib and Islam, their team made sure to keep Islam at a distance so the division wouldn't get fucked. Even now they're keeping Usman at bellator.

If aljos not bro enough to do what khabib did, then merab should move to bellator.

It still hasn't become an issue and isn't an issue because it's an either or situation so the champion doesn't have to wait I don't understand what you're not getting. Whoever doesn't get the title shot if they sit out they risk the chance that someone else passes them up none of this prevents the champion from defending against the worthy contender.
