Why I Left Fox News

FOX is a hundred times more reliable than It's MSM peers, including NBC and MSNBC.

MSNBC barely does news (just talk shows, mostly) so that's a poor comparison, but what do you base your assessment of the relative reliability of Fox and NBC on (putting aside the question of whether "reliability" is really the issue here)?

Unfortunately, FOX news is sort of necessary because of the liberal bias in our media. I would prefer to see more balance by delivering accurate news too, but unfortunately the way right now is one extreme or the other.

She resigned in Oct, but I believe the 1st wikileaks dump came in early June.

So for 3+ months CNN didn't have a big enough problem with what she did to ask her to resign.
Incorrect. Her contracts with CNN and ABC were suspended in July. They didn't formally oust her in mid-September, and announced it two weeks later. Furthermore, there was lingering questions in October to whether or not some of the emails in the dumps had been doctored. I'm not sure what the timeline was on the verification of the Brazile-Podesta emails.

Not that any of this is relevant. Those questions were for a debate with Bernie who was much further to the left than Clinton. So that wasn't reflecting a "left-wing" bias among CNN so much as a DNC bias stemming from Brazile, and CNN rightly took heat for that hire.
So Mr. Will, now employee of NBC and MSNBC, with a proclivity toward Russian conspiracy with his pre-cold war mindset, stops getting called for work from FOX.

"Fox never tried to put words in my mouth, nor was I told explicitly that I was taboo on Trump-Putin matters. I simply was no longer called on for topics central to my expertise."

Now, Mr Will turns this into him walking away?

Yeah, I don't trust Mr. Will.

FOX is a hundred times more reliable than It's MSM peers, including NBC and MSNBC.
Wow. Wanna know how I know why you like Fox?
What am I missing here? Didn't he just say that? Congrats on the Mod btw. I have to say I'm a little surprised as you seem to be dubbed a lot, but congrats none the less.

Are you genuinely confused, here? Is your reading comprehension this wanting?

Perhaps you can produce a whistleblowing testimonial from an ex-MSNBC or ex-CNN reporter that demonstrates the same bias and narrative-engineering?

Conservatives have more integrity?

The problem is that Fox news viewers have been successfully propagandized on the idea of the "librul media" that actual real news seems biased to them.

Sure, tell me why, @Madmick?

Anything they disagree with is fake news which is kind of scary

It is biased. That isn't in contention. You seem to be as confused about this as the Fox viewers you're disparaging.
Sure, tell me why, @Madmick?
I already gave you a strong hint. Time to shine those elbows.

I'm glad to say that the gym I go to every day has started putting FOX on, beside or in place of CNN. It wasn't due to me, or just me, it was a group effort. I voiced my displeasure one time go one individual in having the trash network CNN up all the time. Others, apparently, have too. Or maybe the staff are tired of seeing the fake news continually assault us with It's lies.

At the very least there's some balanced opinion now.

This thread is fucking hilarious.

"All news networks are biased, Fox is no different than CNN! And you're a fool if you watch it."

Yet amazingly, those same people are the ones constantly regurgitating narratives from Fox News. WEIRD. It's almost like, they're fools....

Ah, the article is about Ralph Peters.

Whatever the case, my point still stands from his quote that FOX never told him what to say or not to say.

Nor would I doubt that he'd have an anti-Russian bias due to being 65 and a former general.

Dude... I didn't even respond to your op itt. This was the original comment I was responding to...

Hardly equivalent friend. CNN actually reports on other journalists stories unlike fox which omits them outright or only acknowledges the ones that suit their agenda.

And I pointed out that CNN does the same thing. What am I missing here?

What the hell is this nonsense?

The unfortunate success of the Fox model of exploiting rubes is what shifted mainstream media in that direction to begin with. The cause ain't the cure, this isn't homeopathy.

Propaganda is necessary because other news is propaganda?

It's truly adorable how tribal conservatives are. I'll piss on the grave of CNN tomorrow if I'm shown they're lying to me. Yet an actual EMPLOYEE of Fox comes out and says "I quit because we're intentionally misleading you" and you guys jump to defend Fox. A fellow conservative, a guy just like you, is telling you you're being mislead. And what do you do?

"Well yeah, but all news misleads us so as long as it says what we want to hear it's ok."

No point for Fox to stop now, they've clearly been finding great success.

At least the conservatives itt can admit that Fox News can be shit and pushes a narrative while the liberals see CNN as some sort of gospel. CNN like Fox isn't all bad and both report news, but they both have an agenda, and that's all I've been trying to point out.

<{outtahere}>
You're getting warmer...

They effectively censored him: their own, long-trusted top Russian official.

Apparently this is a problem when it's done to conservatives by liberals at universities. Apparently it isn't a problem when it's done to conservatives by other conservatives when they refuse to kowtow to Trump.

Smells like teen spirit to me: one helping of hypocrisy for everyone.

You did not. You failed to substantiate that assertion. This is precisely the issue.

That's not my experience of this thread. You don't get to claim my integrity as your own. We aren't monolithic.
