Why I Left Fox News

Perhaps you can produce a whistleblowing testimonial from an ex-MSNBC or ex-CNN reporter that demonstrates the same bias and narrative-engineering?

Or do you expect others to accept your opinion offered with no substance or evidence of any kind?
I dont expect anything from any of you..just stating my opinion..If you watch Fox or CNN..good for you..and calm the fuck down.

We've suffered far too much editorializing in the news the past several years, but this is one of the more important Op-Eds written during this period. It's more testimonial than opinion.

Why I left Fox News

Ralph Peters is a retired Army officer, a former enlisted man and a prize-winning author of historical fiction.

If you spring to defend FOX based on partisan flag-waving you are a fool. This is a bad investment for conservatives. Building a homegrown RussiaToday because one believes it a necessity to combat the tilt from the journalistic left is participating in the same absurdist propagandizing that cost liberals the easiest lay-up to the White House in the history of elections.

The younger generation is already showing a heavily liberal proclivity. Fox is deploying a strategy that risks squandering them forever. The center is going to shift drastically to the left if the most important mainstream conservative news source doesn't pull its head out of the sand. The midterms are going to be painful no matter what, but this is the sort of social engineering that will implode 2020, and every election beyond.
Making a broad assessment on the state of politics in the United States without adding a serious critique on the left is exactly what a partisan would do.

Both sides absolutely love to pretend like they exist in their own seperate bubble. No one wants to hear that the extremism of one side fuels the extremism of the other. No, easier to just put all the blame in one basket. Nice and convenient.

This was about Fox news , it wasn't trying to be anything more

This is just whataboutism

CNN's commentary panels are surprisingly unbiased.

They have Republican congressman and former congressman as panel members like Rick Santorum.

On every 'commentary' show they have a Trump spokesperson as a guest. Cooper, Lemon, all have them.
Jeffrey Lord, Jason Miller, Kayleigh McEnany, Scottie Nell Hughes, Jack Kingston & a bunch of others are at least 1-2 of them on the panel each show. Hardly biased.

I watch Fox too and they never have strong/high profile Democrats as panel members. Their prime time shows are just loaded with people who agree with them.

Tucker The Bow Tie bitch does get some credit for having some good left guests but Hannity, Ingraham & Watters suck and just preach to the choir.

You can tell someone is a full blown Trump supporter who just reads his tweets when they scream "CNN is just as bad as Fox, fake news".

CNN have been working with the New York Times (another paper Trump blasts and his minions parrot) a lot throughout the last year, who have been the leaders on breaking investigative reporting in this administration. They've really stepped up.

The NYT have had the inside scoop on 90% of Trumps cabinet firings (that he screams fake news/then fires them days later). Specifically Maggie Haberman & Michael Schmidt.

I would hope most of us can agree that MSM is garbage for the most part. Always taking things out of context, not being held accountable for their words like Trump is Hitler or Obama is some Muslim not born in USA, always drumming up as much as outrage as possible while pinning people against each other. We need less opinions and more facts or non-manipulated stories.

No one really cares, Fox News won't affect future conservatives in any way. It'll only be another decade or so until their entire demographic applies for AARP cards, and another decade till they die.

It's something like less then 12% of people under 30 actually get their news from cable television.

CNN has to drop the split screen screaming, it would help them a lot. Fox invented it.

First and foremost, media today is a profit driven division machine. Expecting actual unbiased news coverage is sadly too much to ask.

I think it's probably time to stop watching news channels. We all know they are propaganda programs. Yet we still treat them with reverence while mocking grassroots and alternative media/journalism.

Anytime I see a CNN panel it's always 4 to 1 against the conservative with the liberal host controlling the discussion by redirecting the conversation, talk over and cutting off the conservative guest, and even just flat out cutting their mic and going to commercial at times.

Fox news definitely sucks but it's pretty ridiculous to try and defend CNN post Trump. Same goes for the MSNBC, NYT, and most other mainstream outlets.

You don't need a whistle blower to see the cartoonish level of narrative engineering being employed by MSNBC and CNN. They have gone full Goebbels when it comes to narrative engineering and propaganda.

But as far as whistle blowers how about Donna Brazile? Didn't CNN get caught giving debate questions to Hillary's campaign?

Thing I've noticed is that while CNN will discuss news that goes against their perceived bias, Fox finds *other things* to discuss when some news goes against theirs.

The difference with the right and the left is that most informed people on the right have realized and accepted the propaganda nature of the major news networks including Fox. Libs on the other hand are still out here pretending that CNN is the most trusted name in news lol.

They do everything possible to convince themselves CNN, MSNBC, ect are not the lowest standard of news and journalism. Why? Because 90% of their Trump hate is based on the propaganda these outlets have spewed for the past 2 years. They've eaten it up like tide pods. Once they admit that the mainstream media is an arm of the DNC and that they have been leading a witch hunt the past two years then they have to admit that a) they fell for it and b) Trump isn't literally hitler. They can't bring themselves to do that so instead they just lie to themselves.

Limp dick apologism.
All I was implying is that Fox and CNN are the same shit, but different pile; and it's hilarious that one could even suggest that CNN doesn't do the same thing as Fox does, especially since the Trump era.
And yet no one here can apparently substantiate this claim.

It's been alleged. Now show us differently. Point me to the testimonial.

Ralph Peters follows George Will himself. Megyn Kelly, limelight hooker that she is, left for the same reason. Michelle Fields preceded them both, and she was vindicated in front of the whole country.

Finally, Charles Krauthammer mysteriously disappeared as soon as he stopped parroting the "Russian witch hunt" line following the exposure of the Trump Tower meeting. Unofficially, they say that it was because of a "pre-planned surgery", the nature of which remains a complete mystery, and that he's still recovering from complications, but my oh my the timing is suspicious. He is the lone voice here who hasn't openly criticized Fox management for specifically engineering a narrative and suppressing anti-Trump dissent.

Maybe you could suggest a scrap of evidence substantiating your assertion, here.
