Dude it's really quite simple. Going to the moon is sort of like riding a roller coaster. You stand in line for hours all the while that tension builds up, you're full of wonder, how high will you go? You try to imagine what it is that you will see up there. This is what keeps you going as you wait in line.
But how many times can a person ride the same damned ride in a row, eventually that rollercoaster gets boring. Why risk the human life, why spend so much money on a boring, time consuming mission. We have already been to the moon, I'm sure not much has changed. There won't suddenly be an exotic piece of moon dust which will capture our imagination. The moon is the same it always was, this is precisely why it is the moon.
Oh and to all of you flat earthers, I think that you seriously need to seek help. You have been force feed Christian propaganda. This heaping pile of utter trash known as the flat earth theory comes fromrom the same brilliant minds who believe that dinosaurs never existed and are a massive govt cover up. The same mentally dehydrated Christian masses that propose that the earth is no older then 6,000 years old have feed you a line of the biggest bull shit ever thought of.
