Elections Why has Obama refused to endorse Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? SMH!

Obama wasn't the greatest potus but he wasn't bad either. The fact he chooses to not endorse a a admitted who is list who is left of Bernie is no surprise.

Yes! These moderate Democrats keep standing in the way of true progress. If Democrats would just grow a pair and run a true Socialist, they'd find out that the People support Socialist policies. When was the last time you heard Obama stump for free health, free college, free housing, free food, and free daycare? Never – because he's a corporatist sellout. The last thing we need is more "moderates" tapping the brakes on progress.

That's seriously messed up tho. Like, why would you do that to a rising star in your own party? You're supposed to be on the same side! Obama done forgot that it was the DNC establishment (John Kerry as POTUS nominee) who put him on back in 2004 – back when he was just some "community organizer" with a funny name. Yeah, now throw in that he has endorsed Menendez out of New Jersey before, and that man is corrupt as the night is long, and everyone knows it, and see if this can make even less sense.

I get that you're doing your "I'm a far leftist" shtick, but it's not convincing.

I'm pretty cynical re Clinton, and even I wouldn't touch on that conclusion. If your suppositions about persons like (Bill) Clinton and Obama were correct, then they could have spent their entire second terms serving the interests of the ultra rich and the highest bidders: instead they continued to fight for consumers, workers, retirees, and the poor - and against the interests of the powerful - in most arenas.

I cannot say to what extent, and given what alternative, Clinton and Obama would "support true socialism." But I can earnestly predict that neither choose against democratic socialism/social democracy if the alternative was persons like Trump or Rubio furthering openly corrupt and bad faith agenda geared toward destabilizing the economy, exacerbating inequality and taking food off the tables of the working poor, wrecking the planet, and selling the government to the highest bidder.
 
Obama is like george w bush with a D with identity politics.

Markets create wealth but don’t always do a very good job distributing it. None of the Dems are true socialists but have various ways of trying to “compensate” for the market. The so called democratic socialists take it too far imo (more often in rhetoric than actual policy) and risk damaging the engine that creates the wealth they want spread around, that’s not progress. Pretty sho u be trolling anyway.
 
I think she's going to form an unholy alliance with The Bern , and they're going to make a run at it. Their "tour" of middle America together was only the beginning.
