It was pretty bad Fabricio did the same mistake twice but to be fair it worked for him before.

He stood right in front of Hunt, Browne and Cain, traded and survived. He prolly thought Stipe would do something stupid like take him down or lose his cool if he pressured him.

Stipe's Stone Cold tho and Werdum greatly underestimated his precision, landing on the button while backpeddaling that fast is unlikely so it wasn't that big of a risk to charge really quick and swinging... he didn't think anything could land.

Werdums strikings is also still better than RRs.

Werdum is like RDA. A flash in the pan who had a good run but it all disappeared after he lost. It shows that nobody really gave a shit about him, and it didn't help that his troll faces made him look like a clown instead of serious fighter.

RDA is one of the most violent fighters in recent UFC history and also one of the nicest and humble men to ever grace the cage. If you don't like him you're likely a terrible person that nobody likes.

He out-struck Travis Browne and Roy Neslon handily and managed to KO Mark Hunt.

His stand-up is sloppy but effective because his opponents are terrified of going to the ground with him and would avoid it at all costs (ex: Hunt not defending against a flying knee because he was concerned about Werdum pulling guard).
