Why does Izzy try so hard to be an anime character?

Genocyber is a masterpiece that people don't understand. Yes, it was rushed and should have been twice the length to explain and develop things better, but it still is a masterpiece. It has by far the best soundtrack of any anime out there, the best atmosphere, and one of the absolute best art styles. The horror is absolutely unmatched by any series out there. Also, the story is deep, although rushed and compressed.

People that don't like genocyber are too weak, both as spirit and mind.

I understand it, it just sucks. After the 1st episode everything gets progressively worse and stupid.

There's a lot of deep, spiritual and mystical truths that are imbued into anime.

I've never gotten into anything but DBZ, but these Japanese/ asian writers put a lot of very real truth and wisdom into their content.

Asian spirituality in general is very interesting and I think that's partially what izzy connects with. They understood the warrior archetype very well, with their own grasp of the spirit world, energy and such things..

Much of our foundational martial arts intelligence came out of places like Japan, China.

It's no different than being Into old final fantasy games, also written and created by the Japanese.

They just put out a lot of good content that goes hand in hand with the mentality of a career martial artist. Someone who thinks outside the box and tries to unite mind, body and spirit.

If you're spiritually inept, you might see all this stuff as childish, but there's definitely a lot more to it than that.

The west in general has a very soul deprived approach to fighting, everything that pride wasn't.

He's just living every millennial males dream who grew up on anime. We are the ones who missed the opportunity to monetize that.

Imo he used to act like an anime character in a humorous way, somewhat cringy but on purpose, it isn't until recently that I've been getting any deep vibes regarding the anime thing.

I guess if someone wanted to make a point about why it's important to protect your legacy by taking yourself seriously, this could be a good example, because the goofiness of the past backfired somewhat, despite him probably being a chill dude deep down.
And ddp doesn't owe him anything so
He doesn't have to be nice.
It's the fans who are fickle.
Buy like I said there's a lesson in it.
