Why do people think Luke is a Douche?

Maybe it's because he is a classic douche bag. He talks down to just about everyone acts like him and his bros at AKA are the only fighters who do it the right way. The way he has talked about Weidman and how he has talked about him are extremely disrespectful and it's not in a trash talking way it's in a douche like way. If you can't feel that douchey vibe Rockhold gives off, you might be a douche.

There's no envy on my part. I think guys like Weidman, Frankie, Lawler, Rumble, Gus, the Diaz brothers, Uriah Hall, and even Jon Jones, seem like they try to treat people well when there's nothing in it for them. I don't see Rockhold or DC being like that. They're jockish bullies and come off like that.

I think it may have something to do with how upset he was about Vitor.
There was some period where he just could not stop mentioning him.

This, and maybe the disrespectful way he behaves against teammates of opponents (Vilante) and opponents of teammates (Werdum) as well. At least that was something that "bugged" me a bit. DC does it too. I get it (we're a team mumbo jumbo), but I'm not a fan of it

I personally consider him a douche. I base this not on him being awkward, but on him thinking he's super cool while being awkward. If he were just awkward like Rory and owned that it would be OK, but he really does seem to think he's being witty and cool. I also dislike his douchey pictures he posts holding tiger testicles and so on.


Now in his defence he isn't really hurting anyone by being a tool, and he's easy enough to ignore. That means I can focus on the important things about him, which are his fights and they are usually very good.

If Luke bothers you then just tune him out until fight time, you'll like him a lot more.
