Why do people support Israel Adesanya?

Great fighter, exciting and one of the most highly intelligent fighters on the roster. Speaks his mind so you see him for who he is and not some of these fake nice people. He is weird but you can tell he is a good dude.

Hes the best striker in the sport and just a great exciting fighter in general with a great attitude, and probably the most entertaining guy in and out of the cage in the whole UFC. Also he is very active and has beat all the beasts of the MW division. Also he and Kelvin gave us the single greatest MMA fight of all time.

Also im not a cowardly racist piece of shit so i don't have to make up pathetic inane reasons to publicly hate/bash black champions in combat sports instead of just saying why i really hate them.

There are quite a lot of Adesanya supporters in here and elsewhere which got me wondering what do they see in him? I can’t think of anything positive about him and the way I see it, he is easily the top 5 most cringiest and unbearable fighter in the UFC.

So, help me understand Adesanya supporters, what do you see in him?

Hes an undefeated striker with a long streak going and he fights 3 or more times a year.....

Does anyone need to explain anything ????

Great entertaining fighter, one of the best strikers in MMA history. He shows how strikers can make it to the top (have great striking and grappling defense/distance management). Almost like the opposite of Khabib's style. Love watching him fight.

But imo he is a garbage human being. idc about his passions and love towards nerdy stuff like anime/manga/comics because I like that shit to. idc if he is potentially gay or bi as others sometimes mentioned, and his race/culture don't mean a thing to me.
To me Izzy is without a doubt an asshole. He shits on Robert Whittaker for literally no reason at all and says some of the stupidest things on a consistent basis. He doesn't really have any class given what he did to Costa (though i found that funny as Costa likely deserved it). He just tries way too hard to be cool, but he comes off as cringe as fuck.

I also hate how Izzy (along with Usman and Francis) keep trying to have this Nigerian champions across the divisions reign type shit, mostly because these dudes don't want to fight each other. On top of that, Usman and Izzy aren't even that Nigerian, sure they were born there but that's about it. They grew up in USA/NZ. These guys are laughable at their attempts to be nationalistic type fighters.

I'd love it if Jon Jones/Stipe could take out both Francis and Izzy, and someone could take out Usman (maybe Colby or the return of the GOAT Khamzat). That way we don't have these butt buddy fighters across 3 divisions.

So I enjoy Izzy the fighter but can't stand Izzy the person.

I just don't understand why he would fondle his dog like that

Francis on the other hand has a great personality. He's great both in and out of the ring/octagon.

He might not have the sharpest technique but there will always be fireworks when he fights.
