A lot of them, not all, have a supposed investment in the UFC and propping up the UFC, and Fedor was not only the target of a smear campaign by dana white and the ufc, was positioned as an ENEMY of the UFC, because they didn't get him. He's the one that got away, and instead of acknowledging that, he is shit on because thye didn't get to see him fight in the UFC.

tl;dr - They didn't get what they wanted.

Some people have a bad taste in their mouth of him constantly teasing that he'll go to the UFC then not doing it, some of which i think is the ufc's fault, some of which i think is fedor's fault, and that I understand. I have a bad taste in my mouth from GSP teasing that he'll fight Anderson, then never doing it, and it'd be unfair to not hold Fedor to that same standard. He opened himself up for a bit of criticism when he uses the UFC and teasing that to build up his next fight, which I maintain is to build up his students as he has no reason to keep fighting and probably doesn't get paid for more people tuning into a FIGHT PASS STREAM. Still though, it rubs people the wrong way. I think that the hardcore desire to see Fedor in the UFC is weird, why? Because he hasn't before. Okay, why want to see him fight in the UFC at 40? What do you get out of it? Just seems strange.

I get it man, I really do but again, me being pretentious shouldn't lead ppl to have ill will towards anyone's success. If anything it should lead to ill will towards me. Even then people with ill will towards others is simply being a hater. Why anyone would wish for someone else to be unsuccessful is beyond me man. I understand that all of these fighters work their asses off and fight their hearts out, it's not for any of us to say, "thats not good enough".

And I am proud, proud of not having an itchy ass.

How many fighters could beat JUST prime Nogueria, prime Cro Cop, and then Andre Arlovski consecutively?

Not many.

Fedor's win streak included another 25 or so wins on top of that, including Mark Hunt, Kevin Randleman, Heath Herring, Tim Syliva, prime Nogueria in a rematch, Mark Coleman twice. It's impressive as hell.

And why would I encourage his further success if it furthers his fans empty hubris and annoyance?

Don't aggrandize people not liking him and you into an achievement would be the jist. It would actually help Fedor.

Fedor I can understand because this is a UFC centric, Dana influenced crowd, but I don't understand the hate for GSP and Silva as well.

Beating cans doesn't take away the good wins. Cain has few fights overall but has some great wins, if he beat a bunch of cans in between these fights it wouldn't somehow hurt his record.
 
Its BisKing's English accent, I cant think of any other reason why anyone could hate the GOAT. Old One Eye would give prime Fedor problems despite the weight difference, believe you me!

The opportunity was there in PRIDE. They didn't mind openweight.

Fedor would 100% have murcked Anderson back when he was at Russian Top Team. Not sure what Anderson's walking weight is but that's a retarded matchup and Anderson would be disposed of promptly. Fedor didn't just stand there throwing punches in one spot like Forrest Griffin lmao.

A better matchup would be 2003 Fedor vs. Jon Jones with PRIDE-era training.

Sorry, but that is a complete load of shit. Fedor fought and beat the best heavyweights of his era in their primes, when the heavyweight division actually mattered. The HW division of the mid 2000s shits on the HW division of today.
