Fedor is well past his prime, but people here seem to ignore that fact. Yeah the fight with Brawldonado wasn't the greatest, but it doesn't mean he'd get starched in the UFC.

The haters are ironically fans of over-the-hill fighters as well. I think the haters are pissed because their favorite fighters' favorite fighter is Fedor, deal with it.

Prime Fedor beats anyone.

Dude was severely overrated his entire career.

Silva would have matrixed him in under 5.

It kinda does, that fight showed fedors age, he just cant hang with top level competition anymore and that's fine he is older and he still has an amazing legacy. He needs to hang it up.

Fedor absolutely refuses to challenge himself, much to the disappoint of fans that actually want to see him in meaningful match-ups. He constantly lies and says he's on the verge of signing with the UFC and never does. He is pretty much content cherrypicking opponents till the end of his MMA career -- which is perfectly fine, and he has every right to do so, but let's not pretend that this is the behavior of a GOAT of any age.

Fedor is always gracious in victory or defeat and he always comes to fight. Even if you don't believe that he is the GOAT, how can you hate this guy?

Look at his record in Pride where 75% of his fights were cans.

Now look at his record Post Pride where he had to at least fight people outside of Japanese cans and the Zulus.

A Stark difference.

Once exposed, he went to his old Pride days.... fighting cans.
 
You made sure the thread wouldn't have serious discussion with your title. Posts like this, along with posts like "what does fighter a do after he destroys fighter b" are made with no intent of having serious discussion.
 
Don't hate him but he's doing everything wrong and ruining his legacy. Which sucks.
 
Internet nobodies hate on great athletes with undeniable accomplishments. Is normal.
 
Fedor isn't a Zuffa sheep that signs BS lowball contract money. I'd rather get paid 2m to fight a can too. Fedor is lynched no matter what on Sherdog.
 
noobs werent around when fedor was god in pride. they see him way past his prime and arent impressed.
that said, he was stupid to box with the pro boxer and paid for it. shoulda grappled.
 
Well, there's the trend of internet :eek::eek::eek:s just hating on whoever happens to be the best. They do that in every sport, all the time.

Then there's also the Zuffa brand loyalty of sherdog heavies. Where most of these assclowns insist that anyone who has ever fought in the UFC is automatically better than anyone who hasn't. Despite like 25 of the last 30 UFC beltholders across all the divisions having first achieved stardom in WEC, Strikeforce, KOTC or PRIDE lmao.

And then you have the large contingent of posters here who are just nuthuggers of other bush league heavies who have yet to reconcile with the fact that Fedor would crush their boys
 
Because many of his fans made discussing MMA unbearable for a while, leaving a bad taste in newer fans mouthes.

Example; the worldwide forum lately.
