Why do Americans Expect God Tier Customer Service from Fast Food???

cause people are jerk offs.
Most the time its kids and most of the time you see the videos and shit, its usually peak hour and the kids are dealing with asshole after asshole.
If your order gets fucked up, just go back up and say "hey dude/mate I ordered X but got Y" and more than likely youll get it sorted and treated quick with respect.
Going up and yelling and carrying on does nothing but makes you look like a waste of oxygen and ruins someone elses day.
Imagine how you would have felt as a kid having that done to you.
Be better.

Or kill yourself, fucked if i care.

in comparison to what rich people from poor countries expect, what the regular american expects as customer service from anywhere is nothing! and Ive seen it very often... which brings me to the conclusion that you are just being negative and picking from what you can complain about the world today.... humans do that all the time, they like to complain so lets see what we can complain about today in the world, even if we have to exaggerate and create a reality based on what we choose to focus on.

There are stupid people here and there, and what you are mentioning is not a generalization by any means, you are just choosing to focus on stupid people, thats all

There should really be a baseline respect of humanity and animals in people.

Anybody who doesn't adhere to that is scum.

I give god tier service in my job. If kids dont want to be good at their job then they can go find another job.

I am brutally honest. Sorry.

Tired of the hand made signs in fast food resuarants saying "we are temporarily closed"

and then go around back and all the employees are smoking weed.

Do your fucking jobs.

i dont expect excellent service I just want everything I ordered to actually be there I always have to check my bag and I want my food to be hot. a 16 year old should be able to do that well, in reality the cook does all that work who is usually like 30 or older 16 year olds have the easiest jobs in fast food and still mess up.

so i am not alone in this. fast food resturants just dont care anymore.

I don't expect much, and I also rarely eat fast food. That said, Chic-fil-a or however it is spelled has incredible customer service and the employees seem top notch.
Brought to you by Rodney Bullard, Vice President of Chick-Fil-A.

I got a Whataburger opening here in may. They will probably have good service and cute girls that I will tip graciously.

Taco bell is the worst now I am always missing an item or they give me brutally cold food like my cheesy fiesta potatoes had a little bit of ice.

I’d be happy with them speaking that same language as me..
Usually the restaurants that dont have english speakers have the best cooks it is the american teens that usually suck ass at service

I don't expect greatest but I do expect not to wait 30 min .

Does your tolerance for wait time change at all depending on how many customers there are inside and outside the joint? What about number of employees? Do fast food places promise your food in under 30 minutes? Where does the expectations come from?

The workers are often teenagers… like wtf do you expect? It’s fucking McDonald’s..

lol the workers are not often teenagers unless we're talking in and out or chik fil-a. when you go to a low tier fast food joint these days you're gambling on if you're going to get your order in less than 30 minutes and if it will be correct. I can't imagine hygiene is appropriately enforced if they can't even fill your order correctly in 30 minutes. I honestly don't know how in and out and chik fil-a get away with it but those are basically the only fast food places I go to now

Diners can cook food from scratch in under 30 mins then a busy fast food joint should too considering their food is pre made and they are just reheating it. They should be prepared for busy days.

when you buy whatever "box" is available they dont even give you a bag anymore and it comes with chips. They put the chips in there and push the top down and crush all the chips.

Nobody is expecting anyone to be flawless. But If you are at the job for a certain amount of time you should know how to read and provide an order. Especially when the burgers and fries are pre made already and you just need to put them in the bag.

I don't really get the jist of the OP anyway. Either it's one kid fucking up over and over or it's people complaining over and over. Either can be fixed by the same thing.
No matter how simple the task, if you do something 100 times in a row you're accuracy won't often be 100%

I also assume most people getting their order messed up have a special order of some kind. Also sometimes they just don't hear you. Half the time I go places and order a burger plain with cheese, and either get a burger with everything on it, or plain with no cheese.

Pizza Hut has been there for me. Their pizza sucks but the cheesy bread and wings can fill my hunger needs.

i understand that. but getting orders wrong 10% of the time becomes a problem.

taco bell harrisonvile mo is sitting at a negative 89%.
