Why did YOU hate World War Z?

shoudve been a HBO miniseries where each episode is a different story during the outbreak, same format as the book. they could do the ones in the book as well as new ones

thats the thing with zombie movies and shows like the walking dead, it can only go for so long until the humans would go extinct, clear all the zombies or get into a position where zombies arent a threat. even in quasi-realistic scenarios, a zombie outbreak would only be for a short period of time

Westworld.
Not much of a TV guy, but I've heard only great things about it.

I will check it out when the new season of GOT comes out, and i renew my HBO Now account

I mean seriously....

the stupid "plot twist" in how to make yourself invinsible to Zombies??

I mean c'mon...how can anyone who liked this movie, appreciate that aspect?

I mean, what level of sick do you have to be?

what if you have a common cold?

HIV?

Herpes?

TB?

lazy writing...lazy acting..

seriously, anyone who liked this film, go fu*k yourself.

Ya see, you saying that you DID read the book, gives YOU a weakness.

For those of us going in fresh, to see a movie, we wanted to be entertained. Thats all a movie's job is to do or at the very least, not be boring.

I didn't hate it but to be honest it was quite a tedious wee film really and a shit adaptation of the book. The Jeeeeeeew soldier girl was the standout for me.

I liked it. The soldier chick with the buzz cut was hot, too.

No battle of Yonkers so what was the point

So basically, everyone who read the book was disappointed in the movie, and everyone who went in cold was at least moderately entertained?

Sounds strangely familiar... to every adaptation ever made.

Nevwr hated a Pitt movie.

I thought it was pretty good for a big budget blockbuster, was entertained throughout.

i didnt hate it, i like the book alot but the movie is not good

I didn't read the book, and I didn't like the movie. I watch every zombie movie that comes out and this one was completely forgetable.

Lame cgi, stupid plot, no tension, no gore. I've pretty much erased this movie from my mind.

If you hated World War Z its because you have shit taste.

Didn't read the book. So I was fine with it.

It's an OK movie.

I read the book, and the movie angers me because the book was amazing, and now that we have a Brad Pitt movie with that name on it, they'll probably never make a ACTUAL World War Z movie.

There are a million zombie movies, why did this one have to use the name of the best zombie story I have ever read... And not use ANY of the story? The name was just a part of the advertising. Such a waste.

I didn't hate it. In fact, I was surprised at how decent it was considering all the hub bub made about it not following the book, and being PG-13.

It was alright. Not something I'd have to see again, or anything, but not a complete waste of two hours.

I just started rereading World War Z a couple days ago. I really like the book.

I did not hate the movie but I did not love it either. It had it's moments but to me it was just kind of "meh" overall.

I don't understand why anyone would buy the rights to a source material and then not even use the source material for the movie. Apparently they just wanted to use the name.

The posters who said that the book to movie adaptation would have really only worked as an HBO-type mini series are absolutely correct. That could have been very cool.
