I feel like everyone would like to be a magician. What is your reason for not pursuing this in your down time? Or am I projecting?

Only my experience, of course. Between the ages of say 16 and 30, I knew three mates who went through wannabe budding magician phases and all three of them were doing it to try and engage chicks because they had poor social skills!

So from them on, I have decided that all magicians are thirsty as fuck!

In all seriousness, a few sleight of hand tricks in a bar setting WILL get you attention from the ladies. Become a master of just 1-2 tricks, coins, cards, something simple but cool looking.

This, 100%. It kinda sucks too because almost every card trick uses the same half a dozen or so techniques. So you can totally spot how the tricks are done, without any ability to actually accomplish them yourself.
