To all the folks bringing up Rich Franklin being a teacher, you must realize teachers are the bottom 1/3rd of college graduates. You either do or you teach.

That quote about doing versus teaching is really stupid. Socrates taught Plato and Plato taught Aristotle. Franklin also got his degree in a STEM field, so while you won’t get a big argument from me about the people who teach 5th grade English being brilliant, dumbasses generally don’t complete four years of university level mathematics.

Credentials can only tell you so much though. I think we can safely rule Rich out as an imbecile, but that doesn’t mean he’s brighter than some drop out. (And that’s before we get into what it even means to be smart in the first place).

GSP. Was actually able top put his ego to the side and retire early. Comes out of retirement for what was to him a relatively easy fight for a title and then promptly retires again. Had a plan, implemented the plan, and exited. Never my favorite but he was a god damned genius in the fight game. Khabib probably just beat him because he is Muslim and he can capitalize off that status in ways GSP never could. Can't leave Conor out. Say what you want but he is street smart and made things happen the way he wanted them to.

GSP definitely has good judgement. He may or may not be able to do math more quickly in his head than other people, but he’s very sensible. Just as important, and maybe moreso, he doesn’t exhibit self-defeating behaviors.

You've missed my point. Conor isn't a draw because he's highly intelligent, sure he saw a path to financial success but it's largely due to his charisma, heritage & talent all put together that made him a draw. Without MMA, he would have been rather blue collar.

Creationist means that you believe that scientific evidence can show that humanity/the world was created by a Supreme being. If Einstein ever spoke out against say Evolution then I've never heard of it.

If Rosi Sexton has an actual PhD in computer science, she is easily the most academically accomplished person to fight in the UFC. You don't get a doctorate in math-based fields by being dumb.

They actually do hand out undeserved degrees to people. You can easily just vagina yourself into a position you aren’t qualified for. There were probably 50 other men who were much more qualified for rosi’s job but rosi’s vag landed her the job. There is not a snowballs chance in hell that the smartest Anything was a woman.
