Who was closer to being wobbled and rocked: Jones or Khabib?

Khabib should've tried having a 6th title defence and 14th UFC fight like Jones was at against Gus.

Lmfao at the people who always pretend Khabib's run gets to be compared to fighters who stuck around longer than he did. A literal apples to orange comparison they also try and bait and switch you with instead of comparing their equal career lengths. Jon's had 10 more UFC fights than Khabib ever did, and gets criticized for them because apparently it's impossible for people to imagine Khabib ever finding a match if he attempted the same... even though we used to say the same about Jones.

For all we know Khabib would've gotten KTFO 10 times in a row if he attempted to do what Jones has.
I mean OP said it wasn't a comparison of careers so why does any of this matter?

No, I dont compare them, its no contest - Jones by far better fighter, better resume, better competition, better peak, better career. No comparison.
I just want to ask, even with such difference in competition who was closer to being wobbled...

The drivel that pitter-patters out of you is astounding.

I mean, there really is no comparison.
One popped multiple times for roids and the other did not.
Night and day, those two.

Nah mate.

It's just fair to point out Jones has had 23 UFC fights and Khabib only had 13.
Fair to point out that Beebs would have been KO'd ten times in a row had he fought the same number of times as Jones has?
You see, I'm almost inclined to take you seriously at times.

I agree that Jon faced a lot tougher competition. The OP was "Who came closer to getting Rocked?" That answer is clearly Jon.

The Gus fight was Jon's 20th pro fight at age 26. By Khabib's 20th fight which was the same year he was 25 (1 year younger then Jon) and had not lost a round and almost literally had not been hit. Jon at LHW was very similar to Khabib in that both were dominant, both retired in 2020 and vacated the title. Jon was not as dominant as Khabib but fought a higher level of compeition. Khabib barely ever got hit and never came close to losing. Jon got hospitalized by Gus, had to cheat against Matt Hamill, Anthony Smith in order to get a finish (should have been 2 DQs) plus his NC against DC so really should be 3 DQ's. Had a close SD against Santos and lost to Reyes in his final fight. At the same age Jon had 28 pro fights and Khabib had 29. Jon struggled in his last 3 LHW fights while Khabib smashed his last 3 with finishes.

For all we know if Khabib had been pushed into a title fight at 23 he could have been smashed. But its more probable he would have dominated. Remember that half of Jon's defenses were opponents that fought as MWs. Hendo who was booked vs Jon + Chael, Vitor, Lyoto, Rashad, Smith, Santos all fought at MW. So add 6 FWs to Khabib's title run. Florian, Ancient BJ Penn, Frankie, Max. Do any of those guys beat Khabib??? Not likely.

It matters because Jon has 10 more fights than Khabib does. It's not a fair comparison at all as Jones obviously therefore had a lot more opportunities to be hit and Khabib's career could've gone completely different if he stuck around that long. If you want to compare them just equally take their first 13 UFC fights as that's all Khabib did.

What, like next are we going to ask who's been hurt more in the UFC: UFC bouts record holder Jim Miller vs someone with only 1 fight?

(which is actually a pretty funny one as Miller's only been KO'd 2x)

In first 13 fights obviously Khabib was hit more and took more damage.

Jon has 30 career fights and Khabib has 29. I am not an MMAth expert but I think30-29 =/= 10.

Considering Jones is literally the only person in UFC history to go 23 fights undefeated in the UFC, and holds that streak record extraordinarily comfortably by 7 fights,

Yes I'm inclined to believe that it in fact is enormously probable that Khabib loses if he attempted to do the same.

As much as I wanted him to be, Khabib was not wobbled by MJ. He just got caught off balance. Re-watched it 100 times hoping to prove otherwise.
I'm not sure which punch people say MJ 'rocked' Khabib with. Cuz he throws a right hook, which does catch the chin as Khabib was moving in so i don't know if people say  that movement was him being wobbled, or the follow-up wide-swinging left that threw Khabib's stance into the opposite direction of that momentum, because that punch didn't land at all. It just caught his arm and pulled him back

Khabib has never bled in a fight.

Jones because he fought so much longer
Khabib fans love ignoring that so if Jones lose his next fight, they will talk about Khabib being undefeated but Jones not lol
