bro the vera fight was highway robbery. even randy knew he didnt win that fight.Randy. "Decision Dan" as he used to be known has too many asterisks on his resume with bad decisions. He straight-up lost to Nogueira and he shouldn't have gotten the decision against Goes to even put him in a position to win the UFC 17 tournament, plus he could've/should've lost to Ninja, Kondo, Bustamante, and Franklin. Randy's only close victories were against Rizzo the first time, and I think he very clearly won on points anyway (and then definitively pounded Rizzo out in the rematch to prove that the first fight was only close because he punched himself out and gassed), and Brandon Vera after he'd already won and defended all of his titles and cemented his legacy, and even that fight he won by UD. Randy and it's not close IMO.
Although true .. not as impressive as being the first Simultaneous Double Champ in the UFCand Randy was the first double champion in the UFC. So what?
The UFC bought PRIDE while Dan was their double champ, but Dan never won the UFC belts. He lost both UFC title unification fights, to Rampage who was the LHW champ and to Anderson who was the MW champ. So no.
Dan was on the sauce. Deal with it, sweetheart.you believe the "natural"
in handy?

It's very much a YES in fact .. You can try and argue all you want .. But the fact is Dan was the very first Simultaneous Double Champ in the UFC.. it's been proven time and time again .. only for guys like yourself to doubt, deny, and not comprehend what's being said
UFC acknowledged this themselves.. you gonna say they are a liar too right
.....
You're either trolling or demented. Either way, you're wrong. Dan never held a UFC belt. He won a UFC tournament, two PRIDE belts, and a Strikeforce belt. No UFC belts, hence not UFC double champ.
No fighter in history has got more favorable decisions than "Decision Dan"Hendo > Randy imo
And he did win the UFC title as far as I’m concerned, ping just got a hometown decision as usual.
I think people forget Dan was actually a problem everywhere during his prime and he wrestled a lot more.I think Randy was better. I mean people gave him zero chance to beat Chuck that first time, and not much of a chance to beat Sylvia years later. So Randy shocked the world twice.
Plus Randy had fewer tools IMO, which forced him to fight more strategically.
Whereas Dan relied on that powerful right hand way too much, especially later in his career when he forgot that he could wrestle.
Both were tough as hell, and I'd rather meet Randy in a dark alley than Dan, but I think overall Randy was the better MMA fighter.
