Who really won round 3? *Gifs*

What do the judge's scorecards say? There's your answer.

connie won the round clearly. you lose in life being a hater. haha

Yes, because a judge is the end all of who won a round/fight, right?

Use your own eyes, unless you're too scared to admit the truth. Conor was the busier fighter with higher output, but Khabib had the best shots of the round. Quality over quantity.

Judges also love to give Diego Sanchez and Leonard Garcia rounds for looking busy while doing jack shit for damage... I guess you value that over actual meaningful shots? Good thing you aren't judging.

The thing worse than a hater is a delusional crybaby sore loser. Way to be Conor fans....

Khabib took the best Conor had to offer and laughed in his face.

Conor took the best Khabib had and gave up. McTapper for the loss. Khabib bless.

I just call it how I see it bruh
Is this your attempt at being funny? Because a little advice nobody thinks you're funny just a pathetic loser who cant come to terms that mcgregor is a tapmachine with the heart of chicken

Haha, it's funny that in this thread the judges who are so often ridiculed for scoring fights differently than the rest of the world are suddenly the utmost authority and beyond reproach.

But the 10-9 and 10-8 by the same judges for round 1 and 2 are right? But all three of them got round 3 wrong?
It was a close round but after the 2nd I guess you give it to Conor via not getting killed, which is what looked likely after the 2nd.

I think those cat biscuits you've been eating are laced with something very mind altering.

I think he's incredibly funny.

Khabib taking it easy in the third round is a pattern he's shown in both of his championship round fights.

Khabib winning every single one of the 53 rounds he'd ever fought prior to this round is a pattern he's shown in every single fight. As is winning the next round.

54-1.

Conor won the round but Khabib slapped him like he was talking out of turn. So I give the round to Khabib.

Yeah I don't have an issue with them giving it to him and your first sentence kind of illustrates the point that judges tend to be unreliable. (114-114 in a fight that was a clear blowout is the greatest example of this) but based on the letter of the law of the rule book Khabib should have won it.

Did you name your account after your mom?

Never change guys. P4P most hilarious fanbase

Who cares? Khabib stepped off the gas with Al. He wanted to try out his boxing. Same here. You don't think Khabib is trying to get better in these fights? You can almost see where he decides he has the fight in hand and decides to try a couple different things. The only other guy that I can think of that has this ability to just stop the game plan and try some shit out is Silva.

So yeah, Conor won the round, but I figure Khabib let him. And I think Khabib is just getting better each fight. Watch his striking his next fight. That is what he has been toying with, and that is what is gonna look a hell of a lot better each fight.

My main problem with this sort of thing is that no matter how good or bad the judges are they're the official scorers so whether we agree with it or not Conor won the round so there's not much to really discuss and as Khabib ended it in the next round the 3rd is pretty much irrelevant anyway.

I doubt anyone here is going to take up judging to attempt to improve the standard. Proper sports evaluate their refs/judges and drop the poor ones but in MMA/boxing no matter how bad you are CSAC and NSAC will keep selecting you. Adalaide Byrd, dropped from World title fights after GGG vs Canelo 1 but still judging for Nevada http://boxrec.com/en/judge/401967

Judges were ready to rob Khabib and gave Conor that round only so he can have a chance to win the fight. They were about equal for half a round and then last 2 minutes of the round was all Khabib putting Conor against the cage and Conor defending. That round should not have been scored for Conor but whatever, he got rekt in the next round so its all good.

{<huh}

10 more shots? Conor outlanded Khabib 44-17 in round 3.
I honestly never looked at the stats personally but all the comments I read seemed to imply he only landed a few more shots.

If those numbers are accurate though I retract my statement and agree with him getting the round. Khabib landed the bigger shots but those numbers are to heavily in Conors favor to justify giving Khabib the round based on that.

Anyone who watched it knows. All the Khabib fanboys at the sports bar were shitting bricks and screaming 'TAKE HIM DOWN, KHABIB' all throughout round 3.
I call BS khabib fans don’t drink ;)

Who cares if Conor may have possibly won a round, when he is winning the whiskey game.

What? They drink IPA craft beer like it's going out of style. They just pretend they don't, kind of like how they pretend to train BJJ.

Yeah I know, it's fucked up. Atleast they got ride of CJ Ross though after the Canelo Mayweather bs.

I've been saying for years there should be 5 judges and they should be watching the fight in a soundproof area on a TV monitor. I really don't envy them and years ago got a poster on here who was a judge to film a fight from his view so we could all see how little they actually see from there vantage point and showing how they can sometimes see a fight completly differently from the rest of the world. Plus crowd reactions and stuff having the capacity to influence there decision.

It really is a flawed system.
