I think Randy Couture belongs in that discussion. I remember Coleman commenting on how freakishly strong Randy was when they fought, although both men were old.

For him to bully the likes of prime Tito and Chuck in their first fight...Randy was freakishly strong. While other displays of that strength occurred at HW against massive guys like Gonzaga, Sylvia and even holding his own against Brock Lesnar, the truth is Randy always had a LHW's physique even when he fought much bigger heavyweights, yet managed to use that impressive strength to dirty box aplenty and wrestle opponents that had a significant weight advantage over him,

Rampage wasn't impressed by Randleman's strength, so would add him as a nomination.

Randleman looked like he was stronger than rampage when they fought though. He couldn't take rampage down but he was able to push him back and pin him against the corner where rampage couldn't move. Also Jon when he fought rampage was clearly stronger than rampage was

Jon Jones for sure, but Rampage certainly deserves a mention. I'm seeing Randleman's name a lot in this thread (for good reason) but head to head Rampage looked like the stronger man.

Rampage was the better fighter but he didn't look stronger. He was stron enough to defend randlemans takedowns though
