Paddy was going to be my pick.

He gets shat on for his response to the Gordon fight, but ask any fighter and they will tell you that when they are in there fights don't feel as close as they are on the outside looking in.

Also, "King" Green gets way less hate for a very similar response to his own fight with Jared Gordon. A fight Bobby was arguably losing before he blatantly and intentionally headbutted him. Then complained that it was ruled a NC instead of a tko win for him.

Paddy is also a great advocate for things that don't get talked about enough like men's mental health.
I remember seeing a meme about "Good Guys" and "Bad Guys" and whoever made it had Pimblett as a bad guy and Tony Ferguson as a good guy.

Meanwhile, Pimblett is happily married, respectful to other fighters, and an outspoken supporter of men's mental health.

Tony Ferguson is rude to everyone, scared his wife so much she had to get a restraining order, and was arrested for a DUI.

Tony would be a good candidate for the opposite of this thread.

Beloved fighters that are actually a bit of a dick.

Tony talks shit about dads not being allowed to see their kids. Then goes on to almost be in that same potlsition after doing what he did to his own family.

Also when he was about to fight Paddy he formed a weird coalition with Colby talking shit about both Paddy and Leon, moments after Colby was roasting him about CTE and mental issues.

He also started the bad blood with Paddy in that fight. At first Paddy just talked about what an honour it was and what a legend Tony is, and all Tony did in response was shit on Paddy. When Paddy responded in kind he was treated as the bad guy.

But him hair fam ting ridiculous

I honestly don't understand the vitriol towards Paddy the Baddy. He has an entertaining fighting style and he seems like good lad.
He’s just an annoying little twat that’s not half as good as they want us to believe. it’s a combination of him being that annoying with that punchable of a face along with the UFC desperately shoving him down our throats because he’s English .

I don’t think it’s hate by the way, at least not from my perspective. Don’t wish nothing ill upon the guy, he’s probably not a terrible person but when he fights, I generally root for him to lose.

I can't remember his name, but there's a welterweight who has basically run roughshod over his division other than an NC due to eye poor against Leon. I wish I could recall who it was...Oh well, at least he gets his rematch with Leon.

What it says. Not going to post my opinion, don't want to sidetrack the thread. Who's the guy (or girl) that gets dumped on for their fighting style, personality, resume or whatever else that you think gets the most unwarranted hate? Active or retired.
Probably Elias Theodore may God rest his soul

I would say Adesanya

Sure he had a few lackluster fights (don't forget Anderson Silva also did), and can be socially awkward, but that man is very talented and has put on quite a highlight reel of knockouts. Plus he was a very active champion and took on all challengers, which is something you don't see often from champs in other divisions
This is another good one.

People who actually want to fight Izzy have entertaining fights with him (Whittaker, Alex, gastelum, strickland costa) the rest are content to lose a decision and take zero risks while down 4 rounds. Fuck em.

The Ariel situation put him a bad light. Made him look Dana's puppet sitting on his knee.

Not saying people shouldnt get the fuck over it, but thats a big part of it.

Plus he knows what he's doin with that haircut lmao
Maybe after he's done fighting he'll be in a metal band. By then his hair could be very long, he could learn to play bass guitar, and master teh hatredcopter head bang. Or that's what I would do. 5luLMf1.gifShoop Kamaru vs chute avi.jpgRX1I.gifCCapture (2) (2).jpg
