Belal has good wins, but top 3 fighter in the world? Idk about that one. Pretty much every current champion is better or has better wins. Not to mention a few recent ex champs (Topuria, Poatan) and interim champ like Aspinal.

I think he was right up there. Dominant in every fight and destroyed dudes like Brady who are now contenders

If it was boxing, they'd be three weight classes apart. And their styles are nothing alike.

Ilia is a pocket boxer with great combos and level changes.
Downsides? He's too frontal, but maybe it's the gameplan.

JDM boxes at range and flanks the opponent.
Downsides? Defense and his feints being so blatantly obvious.

JDM style suits him better vs a wrestler, probably.

Holloway has literally been hit more than anyone else in the history of the UFC. He got clowned 3x vs Volk (with his only real success being that traditional boxing technique known as head kicks).
