The correct answers are:

Jon Jones if you're simply asking, straight up, who wins in a fight, all other considerations be damned.

DC if you're asking who, of fighters who are actually allowed to fight, wins in a fight, straight up.

TJ if you believe in that P4P nonsense.

GSP if you believe in that P4P nonsense and have access to a time machine.

When Weidman
KOed the best P4P fighter at the time even he himself said doing it once didn't mean much and out of respect to the most dominant champion the division had ever seen insisted on him getting an immediate rematch so he could prove it wasn't a 1 off and he was without question the better fighter. (though obviously the strange ending to the 2nd fight kind of robbed him of that).

Still, after those too wins nobody was really calling Weidman the best fighter in the world though.

Don’t forget TJ absolutely destroyed a then P4P #1 not once, but twice.

Jon Jones handidly beat (and made cry) the #1 p4p fighter in the world.... twice.

He dominated everyone he ever fought (sans Gus, who he still beat despite being skinny fat and coming off lack of training and coke binges).

He cleaned out the entire LHW division, beat guys like TRT Vitor, Rampage, Rashad, Machida, Tex, Shogun, Cormier, Gus, Bader, Sonnen, OSP, Vladimir, Brandon Vera, Bonner, Hammill (despite the DQ, he Mortal Kombat fataility'd him)

Again, the fact that he made the current LHW and HW champ cry after KOing him... the guy is the best of all time. If you ignore the NC and the DQ, he is fucking 24-0 against killers!

Without a doubt!

The GOAT

Lol @ these votes for DC, Jones left him in a puddle of tears TWICE.

Can't stand JBJ but it's hard to deny that he's the best

skill for skill, it is Jon.
No if's or but's about it.

If we talk about cleaner, safer... then Whittaker (no PED or towelgates) ...

Weidman won because Silva was fooling around, second was a freak injury..

Conor on the other hand wasn't because of Aldo fooling around nor injury... he flattened ALDO

Weidman belief says otherwise, he had intention moving up to LHW and take the belt there.. that's says a lot about how he thinks about himself.

Conor and Aldo literally landed 1 punch each Conor just landed 2 inches lower.

I agree about the Weidman fights both having question marks and Silva and Aldo are my 2 favorite fighters but there are just as many questions left unanswered in the Aldo fight. Weidman just had enough respect for a legend to atleast attempt to answer those questions.

He also offered to step in short notice to fight Jones and asked for that fight more than once during his reign, of course the UFC said no like they did with everyother fighter besides BJ and Conor that wanted to fight for a second belt without giving up the one they held, including Aldo and Silva.
