I watch it more selectively now than before. The quality of their product has dwindled through the years, but they have a handful of exciting, must see fights like Khamzat for example.
I think that the UFC and it's owners believe that the fighters becoming more popular is up to the fighters themselves and how they chose to do social media to promote themselves. I think the UFC cares more about it's own brand rather than getting people to know the fighters. Which is ironic because most people who became fans of this sport during the tuf era came to love the fighters not exactly the sport. Problem with that is, once the fighters they are attached to are gone, they lose interest in the sport.
You shut your pie-hole!!!I'm 40 and been watching since 95 or so.
My buddies don't watch anymore. Their pussy, weak bitch teenage and early 20's kids don't watch it
The old farts aren't watching. It's never on at bars / restaurants anymore, at least from what I can tell.
I definitely don't watch anymore - DFW has ruined something that he built that used to be awesome. It's akin to something like a Stretch Armstrong where the original one was incredible but after it got mass produced it became this bumbling pile to rubber goo that no one wanted to buy anymore.
Just who exactly is watching UFC? Is it truly just a product that earns revenue now for simply being on television spamming ads for whatever stupid bullshit?? I honestly have no clue who watches
I'm not saying no one watches, obviously someone is, I just don't know who. It's like the sport has vanished but at the same time more popular than ever? Our local watering hole doesn't even get posters for big events anymore.
The modern UFC can suck on my balls. Thank you

So you watch once every 2 years?I watch it more selectively now than before. The quality of their product has dwindled through the years, but they have a handful of exciting, must see fights like Khamzat for example.

Just pay the $99.99 to watch Corey “Dorky-Fedor” try flying knees vs some manlet man.Yeah something like that. ; - )

You are missing out.
You have not been watching since 1995 you liar.I'm 40 and been watching since 95 or so.

I agree with this big time, they dont want another conor running around. But I believe they learned from Conor that they don't like being out-leveraged, which is what happened with Conor and brought us Conor vs. Floyd. He had them by the balls to the point where even if they took half his paycheck from that sham of a boxing match it was still what he wanted to do - his fight, his terms, his timeline. He wouldn't just fight whomever they wanted whenever they wanted for whatever amount they deemed fair. He was talking about being a part-owner of the UFC and had become so popular/visible he didn't need them any longer to generate huge paychecks (as we saw with the Proper 12 liquor deal).
I'd rather not say as I think he posts on here. He only fought once, was a local, last minute replacement and lost.Who's his son
I made a bunch of friends just by going to the same bar and fight nights
Why not? It's public record and id be proud to have had the opportunity regardless of how it turned out.I'd rather not say as I think he posts on here. He only fought once, was a local, last minute replacement and lost.
Are you calling the people that still watch the UFC these days losers in a kinda indirect way?I'm 40 and been watching since 95 or so.

hardcore fans are ruining the sport. Why is it all these "hardcore" fans can't keep that same energy?
Almost like they're really fair weather front runners who only care when fights have enough hype and force themselves to watch shitty events because they think they have to.
