Who in the heck is watching the UFC?????

I have a few friends who will watch big PPVs but not anyone who will watch random fight night cards anymore.

When Gus was at his peak, a lot of friends started to follow UFC.

Khamzats rise also added interest, it's a shame his injuries slowed his momentum.

Me and my boyz up in Jerzee are still down with the UFC to maximum fx that's what's up. I dunno what kinda pussies you hang with or why you even give a shit about who is watching it to begin with.
Jersey used to have a pretty good UFC bar scene, but it's been dead here since COVID around me

Honestly, I get the feeling that PPV numbers are way down. ESPN has been complaining about the guaranteed 300k ppv sales worth of revenue they promised for UFC events, and seemingly won't renew their contract with the UFC.

I wish we could see the real numbers to know how bad things are.

I would consider myself a casual at this point. There are only a few fighters that I will tune in for but after this genetation is gone I will be out too.

Like every sherdogger who cries about the UFC, you sound like a dumb ass. Go watch tennis. I hear men who are full of estrogen such as yourself, are into tennis.

Tennis and water polo are unironically the two most chad sports on the planet.

I only watched UFC pay-per-view at bars and they’re always packed with dudes in their mid 20s early 30s

Fact back when I lived in Texas in Dallas (not really all that far from you)
I remember, I watched Adesanya versus Vettori in a bar on Elm street. Like me and a bunch of dudes were standing instead of dancing, staring at the screen.

I made a bunch of friends just by going to the same bar and fight nights. We used to come there and get like giant tables with a group of like 15 people and watch the fights together. People would bring their friends and girlfriends and their wives and stuff. It was fun.

Sounded like a lot of fun. I've never been able to enjoy myself properly in those kinds of settings because men don't like me around their wives/girlfriends; it's a bit uncomfortable at best, and dangerous at worst.

As for UFC: it was definitely at it's best around the time they absorbed the Pride, Strikeforce and WEC fighters. For reference I remember watching this fight live with friends:

It was pretty easy to turn people into mma fans watching fights like that.

I’ll be real, I don’t pay for shit
The prices are crazy now
I hardly go out to bars or restaurants now either cuz the prices are crazy as well
Seems like we are in the Greedflation Era
But I love UFC and watch every damn card
Saturday night watching fights and eating snacks is my favorite shit ever
Even if it’s mostly just by myself and the Sherdog Crew these days
You have to take the highs with the lows

It’s become so watered down and this is coming from a hardcore who doesn’t miss many cards. I remember in the early 2010s people were complaining the sport was becoming watered down, yet I remember more guys from that time than I do guys fighting today.

I will watch these apex cards but they feel very generic. They have almost no fights with any implications and most are just low level loser leaves town matches.

Apex cards actually make the sport look bad. Production is bad and they all walk out in the same gay fucking uniform to fight in what looks like barn, they have these bleachers in the background you’d see at a kids soccer game..

If anyone came across that shit and that was the first UFC they’d seen in ten or 15years they’d laugh and ask if the UFC is on life support or something

I’ve legit only ever met like 1 other guy in the real world that follows it as much as I do. Most people I meet at a bar are stupid causals.

Taking a sample size of my friends, coworkers and acquaintances between the ages of 24 and 60, it seems like late millennials are the ones watching the UFC.

Iono fam dem prolly watchin' slaps tbh ting got billions of views across all socials 💯📠

They're not public anymore. Back at you!

TKO is and UFC's earnings are reported.
