Who in the heck is watching the UFC?????

I'm 40 and been watching since 95 or so.

My buddies don't watch anymore. Their pussy, weak bitch teenage and early 20's kids don't watch it

The old farts aren't watching. It's never on at bars / restaurants anymore, at least from what I can tell.

I definitely don't watch anymore - DFW has ruined something that he built that used to be awesome. It's akin to something like a Stretch Armstrong where the original one was incredible but after it got mass produced it became this bumbling pile to rubber goo that no one wanted to buy anymore.

Just who exactly is watching UFC? Is it truly just a product that earns revenue now for simply being on television spamming ads for whatever stupid bullshit?? I honestly have no clue who watches

I'm not saying no one watches, obviously someone is, I just don't know who. It's like the sport has vanished but at the same time more popular than ever? Our local watering hole doesn't even get posters for big events anymore.

The modern UFC can suck on my balls. Thank you

I've never watched a UFC event in my entire life. I just think this site has a lot of cool, strong, athletic guys on it.

[unrelated, back around '08-'12 or so I was living in ATL (and training at ATTATL) and a bunch of us would go out every fight night, with girlfriends and wives when applicable, and it was always really fun. I think there may be less of that now, but more casual appeal. But I can't speak for the US anymore as I haven't lived there in a decade, and the the social MMA scene in Wales was virtually non-existent while I now live in Spain where the main cards generally start around 3am or so....]

Like every sherdogger who cries about the UFC, you sound like a dumb ass. Go watch tennis. I hear men who are full of estrogen such as yourself, are into tennis.
Imagine being into cars and then all the cars become shit and you tell your buddies you aren’t happy w the new cars and they are just like @youre gay@

Sounds like all you know is mediocrity and having to pay ESPN $140 a year just to be able to order a pay per view

I'll watch free fights and highlights. I won't pay for any more PPVs.

I started watching at UFC 1. I've been to half a dozen shows live. I was at TUF 1 in Vegas. So I used to be hardcore.

A lot of fighters turned into entertainers.

I "watch it" but not via any method that the UFC can Tabulate accurately. I'm definitely a different kind of consumer

I dont pay for their programming or their subscriptions. I'm almost 34 years old and I have NEVER in my life used a paid subscription based service to digest any kind of programming. I've never used spotify. I've never had a cable bill.

There are a lot of younger 12 to 18 year old fans that are watching. I talk to kids i coach basketball and we will talk about the bigger fights. Alex, jiri, Jon etc. I think there are a good amount of younger fans

i just read results now and watch highlights. maybe deep dive on some fighters i never heard of here and there if i see something cool

I’ve noticed that with even the few generations ahead of me who are supposed to be even potential fans of the UFC. With the circus show they promote and the blatant lack of talent they replaced with cheap contender series labor.

I too have no idea who they are trying to get as their audience.

Bye bitch.

Calling your own friends kids those insults isn’t cool. I’m older than you are and you can’t have perfect events all the time. It’s gotten more technical through the years. The only problem is Jon Jones and his antics that he’s always been displaying. He’s been ducking Tom Aspinall and that’s the fight that makes most sense right now.

I still casually watch it. It may not have the "new" sport feel like it did back in the pre-UFC 100 days and it seems very diluted with less big super stars and more mid/low level fighters. I still enjoy the hopes of a good and entertaining fight.

Not sure what the market says about retaining and finding more fans.

I still watch all big events since I dont need to pay for PPV (just $15 for disney+, god bless thirld world shitholes).

But some ufc fight nights are just unwatcheable now, even for free. I used to watch all cards and even all prelims. That era is gone sadly

Dana White followed the Vince McMahon arc. Attitude era wrestling was awesome and then they went PG looking for money with wider audience. Exactly what the UFC did with the Reebok and Venom deals, the WME purchase, and ESPN. Now its this watered down sanitized mass appeal corporate money maker. Everything and everyone is the same now and the product is absolute garbage for the most part.

I used to watch all the fight nights, top to bottom but the last 6 months or so I’ll just watch a fight or two. Even the PPV’s are so watered down I only feel the need to watch 3 or 4 fights on the main card.
