who here lives in ontario?

North Sauble Sands around May.

If you like getting in fights with insane assholes spend some time in Hamilton at Hess village.

Toronto does UFC events sometimes, there's always concerts and there are lots of museums and pubs. The live sports in Toronto are great too, basketball, baseball, hockey games are pretty fun. The Toronto lacross team is great, the soccer team for major league soccer puts on a great show those games are lots of fun, even the CFL football is good shit and you can see CFL games in Ottawa, Hamilton and of course Toronto.

If you're into stand up comedy there are shows in the falls, Toronto, Hamilton and probably elsewhere.

There are good lectures and guest speakers all the time in Canadian universities too.

I have been all across this great province for work recently - From Thunder Bay all the way down to Windsor, and it has something to offer for all tastes.

Natural scenery/wildlife - North Bay area (including Algonquin park).
Night life/social scene/food - Toronto
History/heritage (if your in to Canadian history) - Ottawa
Destination spots - Niagara (your already there)

With that being said, there are large swaths of nothing. Once your north of Barrie, the population really starts to fall off. Driving from spot to spot is an inconvenience - Ontario is deceptively large.

My favorite city bar none is Windsor. It catches alot of flak for being a "dead city", but it has all the things I look for: Quiet, cheap real estate, safe and access to cheap cross border shopping. The pubs that cater to the university crowd and Casino offer a bit of a social scene should you be inclined.

I currently live in Brampton, but work in Waterloo. Neither city is anything to write home about.

Was born there and lived there for around 20 years.

I grew up around the Kingston area

I don't remember a lime mountain but I only lived there for about half a year and that was 25 years ago.

Just noticed your location.

Holy shit, I grew up in Port Colborne.

fucking LOL - I think you forgot Hamilton.

I remember being in Hamilton a few years back, I was probably like 15 at the time, when I first started smoking weed. I used to do it kinda secretively, like.. there'd be some blaze spots I go to with some friends so nobody would be around to see it. (I was a bit of a puss back)

Anyway, I remember being up in Hamilton with a girl I was seeing and a couple of friens from my down on my way to see a metal show and we were waiting to get on a bus and there was this big black guy next to us smoking this huge blunt, just out in the open.

I thought it was hilarious. Especially because back where I come from, my friends and I were a little secretive about it and didn't want random people to see hopefully be a bastard and snitch on is.

I live in Cambridge, Ontario. So it's about 45 minutes at the most from Toronto depending on the traffic. The older I got, the less I gave a shit about people seeing me smoke weed in the hell. I'd walk up the road with a join in my mouth, walk past people with it lit up n shit. Since I was about 15 when I was up in Hamiltom, I thought the black dude was a little, but you know, the older I got, the less I cared and around that time I had realized that nobody else really cared either.

Anybody on here from Cambridge? would be kinda cool if there was. HMU if you are! we'll teach these Shercans what MMA is all about!

lived in the ottawa valley for a year. (arnprior) not much to do other than keep bees, garden, and go to ottawa to look for girls.

I go to school in st cathraines. The niagara region is kinda sketch tbh. Grimsby is nice and chill.

You're not wrong, it's super sketchy but I've never lived in any of the shitty areas.

What show was it? For years the only reason I would go to Hamilton would be for a concert.

I bought my harley from the dealership in kitchener, does that count?
