Who has the most ironic nickname?

Who? Sam Stout had a nickname of "Hands of Stone" but only got 1 finish in like 18 UFC fights

What? UFC 76. Labeled "Knockout" and did not have a single finish by TKO or KO
I remember buying a pair of boxing gloves online in like 2009 and it came with a free DVD of UFC 76. I blame the seller and the gloves for my pillow hands.

Never watched the DVD either because I knew.

I think the seller was trying to offload these awful DVD’s but most people wouldn’t even watch them for free

Whenever I think of lionheart I think of the time he could have beaten Jones but because of his heart (and lack of brains) he dismissed the DQ. I think him not retiring 5 fights ago is pretty Lion heart like.

My vote goes to Rush gsp. More like what's the rush?
He got 60 pro mma fights, he got heart. He would ragdol Tj.

"Thug" Rose
"Smooth" Benson Henderson (who probably has the most split decision wins of any UFC champion)
Gegard "Dreamcatcher" Mousasi (a dreamcatcher is a protective charm for infants)
Josh "Baby-faced Assassin" Barnett
George "What's the Rush?" St. Pierre
Dustin "The Diamond" Poirier (great fighter, reliably cracks under pressure)
Khabib "The Eagle" Nurmagomedov (like the American Eagle? and eagles are precision strikers, the antithesis of a ground-mauling animal)
Wonderboy is now ironically one of the oldest active fighters in the UFC

Second on what’s the rush st Pierre
Now I remember that we had a user on here who dedicated his acc to hating on boring fighters

The guy updated a top list of those fighters in the signature and with funny nicknames, based on the original. Such as "what's the Rush?"

Anyone else remember this from around 2012 - 2014?

He should have been called chin of stone imo, dude had a solid beard.

Netto BJJ has no submission wins in the UFC and the last time he hit a sub was in 2014.

Tbf that one makes sense in the UK because Netto used to be a cheap shop so it kind of makes sense. I guess a modern equivalent would be Ronda "Temukickboxing" Rousey.

Jared "Flash" Gordon is an interesting one for a guy who's pretty slow and fights in a pretty methodical style. I don't recall him ever throwing anything flashy. (Obviously I get the Flash Gordon reference before anyone points out the obvious)

Oh and I liked him but Rashad and Sugar never really fit for me given the type of fighter that name is generally applied to.

Sean "The Sniper" Woodson isn't much of a sniper, more of a low-power volume puncher
