Tom is gonna be promoted to UFC champ as soon as Jones/Stipe concludes so may as well just look at him as the champ now.

Not sure it's going to be so smooth. I could easily see Jon saying something vague about UFC making the money right and the division being left in limbo.

Strip Jones and all these problems are over. They would have a HW champion who wants to fight real HW contenders. Stipe and Jones are retired, they can have their exhibition match without the belt.
