Who do you rate higher as a wrestler Ken Shamrock or Buff Bagwell?

Who did you like better in terms of their charisma or character? Who was the better in ring perfomer? Better matches? And who was more popular highly regarded by fans?

I want to say I personally like Buff Bagwell's character more than Ken's but I think Ken might have the edge on him in all other areas

Ken has the advantage overall. Crossover appeal. Great look. Athletic in-ring. Built in storyline based on his history.

Heel "Buff" had a great look, persona, ability to get heat, a unique finisher. If it weren't for the nWo already having an A-tier tag team in The Outsiders, then Vicious and Delicious could have been much bigger. He was over, too. When Vince started rattling off names on the last Nitro simulcast with RAW, Buff got a bigger reaction than anyone except Sting. Just couldn't get out of his own way for most things.

Liked Shamrock because of NHB.

Was never really a Bagwell fan but thought he was alright.

Shamrock got pushed down the card so he left to beat up Otsuka and fake a heart attack because Fujita got takedowns. Bagwell assaulted a ring crew member during his biggest push. I'll take Shammy. I was a huge fan of both guys in 1998.

Ken shameron easyily

Shamrock did hurricanrana's in his WWF career. He's a solid worker, better than Austin Rock or HHH.

Shamrock was a better wrestler but Bagwell was a better entertainer.

Austin was an incredible worker; especially his earlier stuff before injuries. He was the Ring Master when he left WCW due to his ability to wrestle. I disagree with your take on Shamrock over Austin in terms of in ring work. That isn't knocking Shamrock, but Austin is a legit worker. I'll agree on the Rock and HHH, but HHH is pretty great as a worker.

Without question Bagwell.

Shamrock reminded me of that movie Requiem For A Heavyweight, a washed up boxer having to go the pro rasslin' route.

I could never take Buff seriously. He always struck me as a goof.

Took Shamrock deadly seriously. On edge. Legit skills. Had some great matches and was really athletic. He could do some flying stuff that I never expected of him. I thought Kenny, as a pro wrestler, was under-used. He gave his all. Took ridiculous chair-shots. Interviews were pretty good.

Without question Bagwell.
Lol wtf?!?! Shamrock and it's not even remotely close, I thought Buff was trash in the ring. Do people really rate him? Only thing "without question" I think he's better at is on the mic.

I'd much rather watch Bagwelll perform than Shamrock. Not trying to sell....WOW....here, neither were all that much.

Ken was prob technically better in the ring, and his most dangerous gimmick was cool. Back then UFC was nowhere near what it is now, lot of people only knew what they heard about NHB fighting and they played that up to make him seem dangerous.

Buff definitely did better character work imo, but never thought he was that great in the ring. Been forever but I think substance abuse may have played some part in some of those performances. I think Buff sometimes had male stripper vibes, which ended up not being too far of given some of his post- wrestling antics.
