NHL 24/25 - Still did better than Vancouver

Oh', thank Christ it's not Boston or Tampa for the Leafs this year.

Ottawa, eh? I remember them being our kickin' dogs for a while way back in the 00's. Leafs will still lose. 4-2 Sens. No faith, until they give me reason to have any. Let's see what this new coach and new goalie can do...
 
Stars-Avs and Lightning-Panthers should be good.

Leafs-Sens could be hilarious. Need Domi, Tucker and Neil to lace them up for a few games.

With the Leafs? You'd have to be a bit kooky to have any faith in them. We've seen this movie about four or five times already with this same squad. They simply are not built for playoff hockey, until proven otherwise.

Absolutely no excuses this year, though. Won the division and got a favorable match up against a wildcard team. No meat grinder first round against a top team. I like the new goalie, but hey, I liked Andersen and Campbell as well. We'll see, but they don't deserve anything but low expectations at this point.

But with Berube at the helm with his Stanley Cup winning experience, I think you will be surprised.
 
nice final game sendoff for Sam Rosen at MSG after 40 years as the broadcast voice of the Rangers.

Kenny Albert is apparently taking over in that role with Joe Micheletti still on board.
 
Can’t wait to watch Halttunen in the NHL. Actually going to watch the Sharts :eek:
 
been a pretty fun season. i was wrong on dang near all of my pre-season picks. had the rangers making it the finals lol ouch

sounds sacrilegious but i have the leafs making it to the conference finals. i think they get past the sens and then the panthers and lightning will just beat the dog shit out of each other and the leafs will take advantage of that and will be able to finally get over that second round hump. their goalie tandem is legit

I like the goalies...for now. We'll see what happens, though. They did win the division, so one could argue that improvements have been made with the new coach as well.

Still though, that core just disgusts me in the playoffs. They're like a bunch of friends in high school, just teaming up to kick the shit out of everyone else in the school. Then they travel to another school to play, and immediately fold when they run into some serious competition.

I'm completely dead inside with this team. If they run over the Sens, I'll be a bit more optimistic.

i'm pretty excited about the series . sens have been fun to watch and ullmark has looked awesome since coming back from injury. i got the leafs winning but i'll never be shocked if they have another first round exit lol
