Never held a world title, some people think I was robbed in the Olympic trials. Best known for my powerful right-hand and high-profile bouts against two world champions from the same city. My nickname is misspelled on my my tattoo.

I competed in over 150 pro fights. In my home country I'm regarded as one of the top 3 boxers of all time, and one of the best ever in the weight class I competed the most in. After my career I took a lot of beatings, working as a sparring partner and earning 1$ per round.

Panama Al Brown ?

I held titles 3x in two divisions. As an amateur I only lost twice. In my 14th fight, I fought, as a late substitute, at MSG for the title, but lost in 15. My mouthpiece was stolen and I had to purchase a generic one before the fight, which shredded my mouth. The man who beat me was on the way to being an all time great, before prematurely dying

I am a boxing hall of famer and had wins in 3 different decades. I won 28 fights by KO and am arguably the greatest fighter ever from my country.

@Sinister did this a decade ago- so full credit to him for the idea..

Conor McGregor

As far as celebrity boxing remains out of this.

The discussion of whose flag I'd wave walking into the ring was always a controversial one. One country I could claim refused ot make me a citizen, the other one is just plain crazy and miserable; I picked hte crazy and miserable one. Either way, I was one of the best outfighters you'll ever see (stylistically you'd practically think I'm Cuban, even though I don't look like a Cuban), and the champ in the division above me avoided me as I was nearing retirement, even though he himself was a top fighter as well.

No idea for your's @ironfist05 so i'll give a second option for everyone.

I only held a world title once and it was taken from me less than 7 months after i won it. I shared a last name with a former heavyweight champion though we were of different nationalities, and an Angel tried to destroy my liver.

It's not Nonpareil Jack Dempsey, but there are similarities.

I thought maybe Naseem Hamed. But he had no citizenship issues.
