There was so much blood I wouldn't have been able to see out of that eye anyways. It wasn't like completely out, just bulged I guess since my eyelid was hanging off. 124 stitches. Worst night ever.

Damn!

Notes:
Solid day. My right pec is still fucking bothering me though, it got bad during the 4th and 5th set so I decided to end it there. Close grip still bothered it so I did some board press with a very narrow grip (index finger almost on the smooth). I suck sweaty balls at these. Gym is closed Friday so I will do deadlift/push press/chins on Thursday. Next week I will probably take off any barbell benching and just do some high rep stuff with dumbells to let the pec recover for the final hard 3 weeks of training before the push/pull meet.

Nice benching today Dan. I think you should take several weeks off and make sure it's fully healed up before you injure it worse :D

At that point I'll just inject painkillers into it and bench away.

You become a real powerlifter when you vic up before you bench - Although you also need tendinitis from all the heavy shirt work, too.

You have it all wrong. You have to crush up oxycotin and mix it with cocaine and meth, then snort it.

nice benching, take it easy on the pec. those kind of injuries are no joke.

Nice bench. Take it easy. Long term success is very dependent on how wisely you handle your injuries as they crop up. I would take time off from heavy benching and just focus on light high rep rehab/prehab stuff.
