Hysterical! I can't stop laughing!

srsly? ya didn't get that stitched?

someone plz post the Capt. Picard wtf palm to forehead pic.

Stitches are for bitches. I'll let you ladies get back to your cosmos and conversation about maxi pads, I'm going to go eat beef jerky and drink ale from the skull of a felled beast.

People who avoid getting stitches when they have gaping wounds and medical coverage are usually afraid of doctors and/or needles.

No fear of needles or doctors, just no patience for waiting 4 hours in the ER. I went to the doctor yesterday. They gave me a tetanus shot and some antibiotics, he called me a dumbass but said at this point since it was healing fine and was in a location where the skin doesn't move he wasn't going to stitch it.

Why would you go all the way to Canada to visit the ER?

when i had to get the end of my finger stiched on it only took about 30 mins, worst part was paying those assholes $20 for parking

Ouch!!

I've done that many times before and even busted my kneecaps severals times from box jumping. My shins never bleed too badly but my main concern is bone damage and how it would affect deadlifting.

Are you keeping it covered? I'd slap some Steri-strips on that bitch, but I also shave my legs and read People magazine.

You're going to have an awesome scar.

I approve of letting it heal on its own.

What he meant was "Ur a dumbass and u waited longer than 12hrs so now I can't stitch it." Just so I'm clear, you would rather have it take longer to heal with a greater chance of infection than to go to the ER.

Just so you know, you're the kind of person I actually want in the ER. Not the panty wastes I usually get. Someone with a legitimate medical emergency that can actually be helped.
