Whiskey, War, Suicide, and Guns

Anyone who has ever been to Northeast Ohio will probably piss themselves at these.

I've never been to NE Ohio, but I'm having a hard time breathing right now.

That was amazing.

I was laughing pretty hard until the end of the second vid reminded me that's exactly what it's like in Flint/Detroit, too. fml.

The less I worry about what other people say I should be doing, and the more I just lift and do what I know I should do, the stronger I get. Imagine that. I think beyond my log (and teh Pub, of course), my forum days are done. It's all bullshit and I really don't care anymore. /self-revelation.

You just figured out that internet forums are ghey. No wonder you still live in Cleveland.

Those vids are currently being sent to all my friends from "The Mistake on the Lake."

"Our economy is based on Lebron James" is so true it's painful.

Those were great. They remind me of the SNL digital shorts back before they stopped being funny.

You sound angry. It sounds like you might pull 650 at your meet.

Anyway, I don't think being loyal to your own strength gains and reading internet forums are mutually exclusive. It's no different than when you lift with a group of powerlifters. Everyone thinks they know what is better for you than you do. Most people are full of shit and don't have a clue about what works best for someone else.

Except me - I think you should do crossfit.

390x5

Oly Squat:

Good Morning:

155x15x3

Cable Pulldown Abs:

200x15x3

Legs were too sore to do any conditioning. I will be cutting it back to one HIIT day a week anyways since we're inside 8 weeks to the meet. Should be enough to at least maintain. Anything else will just be incline walking on the treadmill. Shoulders have really loosened up and I'm able to get my elbows under the bar now with the lower position and form feels tight. Working on conciously pushing my knees out too, I've developed a habit of letting them drift in as I get fatigued. Never would have noticed if not for the wonders of video.

The camera never lies. Usually I feel like i'm giving it my all and I'm about to die and on camera it looks like a breeze. It helps me to keep pushing harder.

Your lifting has been pretty sick as of late. Still thinking about going for the 220s?
