I used to buy Lindt, but then saw articles about how many big name brands of dark choco had levels of lead and cadmium that exceeded the California safe level and Ghiradelli was one recognized brand that had less lead and cadmium. The other relatively safe brands were ones I never saw in stores, even though Walmart was cited as having carried it.

a little bit of lead never hurt anybody.


My fav is Cadbury dark chocolate bars.
I doubt it's the best out there, but it's so smooth. It's my go-to.

I suppose I aged out of school so they can't assign me to special ed after eating lead dark chocolate.
