Are you handling the deload well? The Enright I know would have maxed out 3 times this week already.

Nothing in particular, just the cumulative effect of the fatigue of the past 3 weeks. At least in the last cycle I felt the same way right about now, but come out of week 4 ready to take on the world. The volume typically goes:

Week 1 - High
Week 2 - Med
Week 3 - Very High
Week 4 - Low

Protein powder - True protein mix of 50/50 MPI/Gemma. Usually 2 shakes a day, each being two scoops (one of those is breakfast combined with a bunch of oatmeal milk and berries)
W/O Drink: 65/25/10 WMS/Whey Isolate/BCAA, usually 6 scoops per workout, 2 before, 2 during, 2 post.
Beta Alinine: 5-6 grams split up in the workout drinks
Creatine Monohydrate: 5-6 grams split up in the workout drinks
Multivitamin - 1 a day
Green Tea Extract - 1 a day
Fish Oil - 10 1g pills a day, split up
Greens + - Usually a glass before bed
ZMA - 3 pills before bed

Shit, I take a lot of supplements. Total calories a day are about 4000 on off days, 5000 on lifting days. Have been gaining .5 pounds or so a week on this which is a good pace to not turn into a blubber ball.
 
Oh yeah, and a gram or two of long ester test. edit: This is a joke, for those who are dense and will report me to the USAPL.
 
i currently take 0 supps. im interested to see how a full regimen will help.
 
Other than the protein powder and workout drink, which are merely for the convenience of calorie delivery, I don't know how much it helps. Honestly I have probably taken creatine, fish oil, greens drink, and a multi vitamin for two years straight so I would have to go cold turkey to see what kind of difference it makes.
 
I ALWAYS start really good with my supplements and then will basically stop taking them. I haven't taken my BA or creatine in god knows how long. I should jump back on that.

Man that's a lot of shit. I take:

Protein Powder (cheap kind)
Dextrose (also cheap)
Creatine Monohydrate
Fish oil
Multivitamin

That's it really. Sometimes some Muscle Milk before bed.
I would like to try Waximaize for its non-bloating properties but that's about it.

I'm bored out of my fucking mind. I was going to do some sandbag shouldering, but I decided to just rest instead. I'm trying to be smart.
 
I guess I am a supplement whore and didn't even know it. Oh, and I also take a half spoon ful of Cissus a day.

That's the way I was. The meet is sweet, but you basically lose two weeks of training, the week before because of rest and the week after because you feel like dump truck ran over your face. I get very unsettled when I am not walking around with something hurting or anticipating another workout.
 
i need a good pre/peri workout supp. any good suggestions? when i get my beta and creatine, ill take that at night before bed. ive had the best results that way.

Waximaize + Whey Isolate seems to be king. Otherwise you could go weird like DS and take meds and caffeine.

See: My workout mix. I like it. It costs about $7 a pound which is cheaper than Surge, and WMS doesn't make you feel like a bloated turd. They actually have oat starch now as a carb source which I might give a go since the diabeetus monster will get me or something considering the 1000 calories of high GI nutrition I suck down during my workouts. Some people get fancy and have different blends for pre- peri- post- but I say fuck it, the extra compexity isn't worth the microscopic difference it might make. The guy in my avatar says his favorite supplement is milk shakes and ice cream, so I don't know if any of it is worth the effort I put into it sometimes.
 
Also I suck and you should be asking people smarter/stronger than me for advice.

I week of is a long time off. Did you take any caffeine/p. ed. supp during the meet?
