Bench is feeling dynamite. Weighed 231 today. Eating an extra 500-1000 calories a day makes you fuck all strong. My journey to a fatter/weaker Doug Young continues.
 
I've lost 22 pounds and feel weak as shit. Plus, my left leg no longer works right. FML.

I also almost had a heart attack walking to the noise bleeds of the Horseshoe. It was a great game, and Iowa had plenty of opportunity to win. We still might go to the Fiesta.

It was a good game. It's a good thing Godsen's meet ended early or I would have left his ass to go listen in my car. The Horseshoe is enormous. It's hard to appreciate how insane a stadium that holds 103,000 people looks until you are in it.

After switching back to flat shoes for the squat, I moved my stance out a bit today. A few inches outside of shoulder width, probably about 2" wider than before. And it felt really, really good. Great power throughout the whole ROM. I think I'm figuring this shit out.
