That's cool. Did I mention that the 545 pull was done within 90 minutes of setting squat and press PRs?
 
Yeah I'm not too pissed about it, it's definetely there, just need a bit smoother pull. I know if I can get it above my knees I can lock it out, because that's past my sticking point.

You'll get it fo sho after a taper. I've got to imagine your still a bit overtrained.
 
You should be good for 550 with a little rest.

Good news for me - The bar I use at school for squats weighs either 50 or 55 pounds.

Picked a weight that was challenging, but kept the reps quick and snappy. Feels great to do some overhead work. After the meet ungaying my OHP will be something I work on.

No, I felt pretty good today, but was sick as fuck Thursday night and slept 12 hours.

I know Zero, I wasn't dissing you. I just spent a weekend at two seperate USAPL meets in Columbus, and was back in the warm up area for a bit, so I have pretty good idea of what to expect. I'll be going with my college friend and three guys he competes with so I really don't have any questions right now that they haven't answered for me.

^^^This is one of the kids he lifts with and I met at the Arnold, he's going to be a fucking freak. He's 17 in the video. He got hurt playing football and had to take almost a year off lifting, but he's back now and has already pulled 734 in the gym and he's 19!!!! About 260 pounds. He spent his break from school training at westside.

Nice little PR. I wasn't feeling great today, my sinus infection got worse overnight, so I didn't work up higher. Probably good to leave those last 10-20 pounds in the tank for the meet.
