In 2010-2011 he won a title eliminator over Marquardt, who is as good if not better than anybody in Fitch's win column in UFC.
@dildos that's how low you have fallen

Not nearly as good as Fitch win over prime alves who was top 15 p4p at the time.

A better question would be..
Silva finishing Forrest vs GSP win over Fitch (or even making BJ Quit in his prime)

Hey dude, get all desperate you want, I made a quick search sherdog rankings 2009 and found exactly what you asked for in one minut. Plud videos from a reporter backing it up more than 2 and more than 6 months later. Go you do the search from that date nerd

You are on your ass crying, in your own thread lol, and asking me to keep wasting my time on you on a matter already more than proven. "bu-bu-only a couple of months"
Slapped right and left dude swallow it rat

You realize he was only at number 2 because Chael moved up to fight Jones and was removed from the rankings?

That´s what Im talkin´about, lil Disciple...

You´ve never, ever watched that fight & keep usin´that 16 wins streak narrative left & right...

I honestly doubt this guy has watched any fight not involving GSP, let alone understand what he is watching. Im not trolling, I do genuinely believe so at this point.

I didn't say decisions were more impressive, but a destruction like Max vs Kattar left no doubts as to who the better fighter was and shouldn't just be brushed to the side. Max didn't finish him but at the end of the fight nobody had any question about who was better. Was that not impressive?

It was, would be even more if he got the finish, but i know finishing top contenders is not easy. (That's why Andersons resume is more impressive that GSP's)

Wow Thunderstruck is getting embarassed!
Guy makes a thread, doesn't get the responses he wanted and starts crying and "accidentaly" giving wrong info.

Lol calm down, pretty sure more peoples answered Fitch.

Also, hi Toner. Glad you're back from that last ban.

In 2009 moved to fight Jones?
Hey sissy. You are an embarrasment

https://www.sherdog.com/news/rankings/4/Sherdog-Official-Mixed-Martial-Arts-Rankings-17131

April, 2009. Okami #2

So you found out some sporadic times when Okami managed to reach #2 mw.

Lets compare with Fitch :

He was first ranked #2 WW in april 2008,

He became #3 after losing to GSP in august 2008 (Alves taking the #2 spot).

He stayed #3 until december 2009, then became #2 again.

He stayed #2 from jun 2009 to december 2011.

So in a period of 42 months, he was ranked #2 WW for 32 months and ranked #3 for 10 months.

All that in a more stacked division than MW. Every commentators said that it was more stacked. The statistics proved that it was more stacked. The world demographics says that its more stacked.

Wow, the Don Quixote of this forum, fighting his imaginary enemies.

Calm down, fattie. You got the wrong guy and you're embarassing yourself.

Anderson's win over Okami was better.

While Fitch was probably slightly better than Okami, the difference wasn't substantial. They were similar in caliber. Going full Matrix mode and flawlessly destroying Okami in 7 minutes is much more impressive than winning a decision over Fitch. Anderson looked like he hadn't been touched afterward, whereas GSP was battered and bruised.

I'm not a GSP hater, but this all seems pretty obvious.

As a GSP critic and an Anderson fan, the Fitch win was more entertaining and more impressive. Weird opinion. Probably not shared by many especially other Silva fans. Sorry not sorry.

Gsp vs Fitch.

Aldo vs Edgar is the greatest win in any of the GOAT’s resumes

Finished fights matter. Barring a freak injury, DQ, or some other unconventional bullshit, a finish is a more dominant and impressive form of victory.

Silva was flawless against Okami. GSP let the clock run out. Silva has the better victory.
