Stipe was on an insane streak beating Hunt, Arlovski, Werdum, Reem, JDS and Ngannou. DC stopped that. S Tier might be hasty, fine. But DC is easily A tier in the realm of Cro-Cop and Ngannou.

Bigfoot went on to beat Reem when he was still close to his Ubereem form. Closer to that form than he was when he fought anyone else in the UFC. Bigfoot also went on to beat Travis Browne and fight for a title.

Barnett was peaking and 9-1 in his last 10 coming into the DC fight and then went on to the UFC to beat guys like Mir and Arlovski after losing to DC.

Stipe went on to beat DC in the rematch after losing to him.

All these guys won meaningful fights after losing to DC.

Which meaningful fights did Herring, Carwin, Randy and Hunt win after losing to Brock???

Both are hard to pin, via circumstantial shit. Mir lost some of his prime after motorcycle wreck and presumed substance addiction, looked fucking dreadful upon return, but beat some of the all time greats once he got back on track. Brock started way late in the game and was really green, while doing big things, but doesn't have a large body of work. Not really sure.

The question is pretty much summarized in the title. Lesnar had a shorter career to dissect but Mir had the longevity to pick at. I personally would put them in the Top 15 range, I think they both are on a tier beneath the obvious S Tier HWs like Fedor, Stipe, Cain,DC, Big Nog and Werdum. A notch below guys in like the A tier with Couture, Cro-cop, Ngannou, and Ubereem. How would y'all rank them? I think they are on the same level as Sylvia and Rizzo

Brock didn't change anything, Nir was the only one who started bulking up to fight him and that fight never even happened.

Lesnar wasn't around very long and simply wasn't conditioned to deal with getting rocked. Predictably better to go back to puroresu.

Mir had insane longevity and good submissions but he mostly got outclassed and outgunned by the best guys.
