I see the "young Robbie" thing keeps on going. Daily reminder: Nick was also young in that fight. Sherdog's boy (well, one of them) received a legit beatdown so you guys will have to live with that.

Nick will always be underrated around these parts.

Nick haters will always shoo us away. It's fine.

He was an amazing martial artist and awesome boxer. Who ever walked through him? Seriously. Who. Who ever passed his guard or took his back or mounted him? Who knocked him out?

I don't care about his number. I'm just a fan of martial arts. Obviously he was extremely effective. He also owns 2 of the most exciting fights ever vs Daley and Gomi. So if people don't enjoy that I don't know what to tell you and I don't care. Always ready to hear hatred. Been here long enough to know it's always coming.

Yes he's a top 10 ww, no he's not top 20 or 30 all time. you need to be top 3 in a weight class all time to be a top 30. to be a top 20, you had to have atleast been the best in your weight class at some point. it's hard to say nick diaz ever really was.

I invite you to check the discussion about Kiuma Kunioku I had with that guy. So you can learn about how to give an assesment on a fighter:

I've watched about 30+ fights of Kunioku's now and I swear Fightpass organized his fights in such a way that all of his worst losses were clumped together in one major pile and that was what I saw first. Upon further examination, he was much better and more athletic than Matsui, damn good take downs and scrambles, a decent sub game (kneebar'd Funaki!), and cardio for days. He also very rarely if ever fought anyone his size and improved exponentially from his first forays into pro fighting. He was NOT an elite fighter but it would have been interesting to see him fight in America against the elites of the lower weight classes when he was at his peak.

To call him forgotten is a bit of a misnomer, though. He really qualifies as an unknown fighter that probably deserves at least some recognition for the success he had during the early days of MMA, or whatever you choose to view Pancrase as.

Whether you agree or disagree, that guy could rock the hell out of a pair of pink trunks!

I invite you to share your take on Kunioku as well and of course, do not forget to apply the lessons learned and bring a legit assesment on our Yushin Okami

Actually, you wish he did. Point scoring wasn't his thing and you know it.

He made GSP's face bleed and wasn't really threatened. GSP did just enough to win the match as well.
