Where do you place nick diaz overall

You got the wrong person. x)

my bad. well, you know who i meant lol.

diaz haters are weird. he had one of the most exciting careers ever. Do people expect an apology he didn't win every fight? and the fighters at the top couldn't really hurt him bad?

have a standup fight with prime paul daley or gomi see if it's fun. Spar with Andre ward on a regular basis. See if young Lawler hits less hard or not if you want. Or moving up to fight an older anderson silva. Not much damage. gsp, not much damage. Never close to getting finished by the best.

so he must do some things right. or just call him shit and run off who really cares. I enjoyed the career personally almost as much as Wands.

And there's much more we could say but personally I can't bother. Several "fight fans" don't even watch the fights for crying out loud. Others ignore the context, others are extremely biased and others obey to Dana. Whatever. I really, really don't care anymore.

You really think you're doing something now, don't you..? Don't you have something better to do? Like, post negative reviews on Hendricks' business or something?

that 3 fight losing streak with I think Karo, Riggs? and Sanchez was the most annoying part. Because they were all crazy close fights. Although it was for the best. He went to elite xc then "strikefarce" and got to be king there. The most funny thing I've ever heard in mma was Nick saying "I think Karo is a bad matchup for me to be honest". That was a great fight. I mean it really is something if you go your whole career never got his guard passed, never back taken, never close to being subbed. I think he has one tko loss when he was like 18. Sanchez passed to half guard once...briefly. and that's it.

remember the Riggs vs Diaz hospital fight story? Lol. I mean immature as hell but entertainment value is huge. and one of them had like an IV in them still IIRC

great career. and he seems like a nice person. and no chance in hell he did steroids. He flips his shit about what he will consume. Can't say the same about every else he fought... caught or not. steroid use used to be easy.

Also him switching to pure orthodox stance against KJ Noons for one fight to fuck with another boxers head. That was a great plan. That kind of shit is just fun. It's like people who don't think Norm Mcdonald is funny. which is fine... but I think bc most don't really see what he's trying to do. He fights like he's trained to snuff people bullying him with punches and that's it.

Yup, one TKO when he was green and that was it. Kinda like a baptism of fire. Then he went into unstoppable mode and not by shying away or tricks. He was going in to legitimately fight and wasn't stopped once after that one time. You'd either fight him and lose or screw around and, in the UFC, probably get the win.
A fighter's fighter if you'll ask me.

Im a huge fan of the guy. His fights were great and he was such a boss in and out of the cage but the career was good not all tjme great.

Anderson Silva requesting a rematch I think was out of respect. He probably wanted a more exciting fight too and thought Nick was formidable. I mean there was never any shit talk.

Also him vs Scott Smith (poor fuckin guy fed to the wolves every fuckin fight lol). He's like the people you train with are bad people you can come train with us if you want in post fight speech. Frank talked lots of shit he still lifted him up after the tko. He gets a bad rap.

Poor Scott Smith. My favorite upset is him over Cung Le just bc I know the company used him as cannon fodder to get beat up all the time.

he's just a huge asterisk. way too inactive to even place him anywhere.

2 fights since 2012. at the very least, an incomplete career.

Maybe a little true. but he doesn't want to. he always said the lifestyle is like a prison. and he was going 3-4x a year sometimes since 18. Think he's given us enough even though I want to see more.
