I'd strongly consider buying sooner rather than later due to the political climate and impending elections. Nitpicky has me going on three years of trying to build two AR's and only having one done. Just sayin'.

I have people calling me and asking if I can get S&W MP ARs . . . can't find much of anything outside of the entry-level ARs at this point. And when the other players (DPMS, S&W, etc.) are available they either go so fast or are priced more than what some folks want to spend. I mean, I can buy ARs, but not at a price many folks would be willing to spend so I could at least make some money on them.

Seems kind of random to me . . . there are times throughout the year when stuff is readily available from wholesalers and then others when nothing is available. I'm going to try and buy lowers, lpks, etc. when I can just to have some stock to sell.

I joked with the wife it's almost like getting my first gun. The reverence and trepidation for something unfamiliar. I just stared at it a bit before handling it.

I was, thanks. I was thinking about getting the whole Sharps BCG together from Sharps but that's like $200 or more so am thinking I'll get the bolt and a standard NiB carrier and frankenmake it myself.

Today I've switched out a BCG and bolt catch for no reason that I liked the looks better. Then I have it a good eye-fuck to gauge satisfaction. After that some magazines were swapped in and out. From that I learned I need some Magpul 40's in Reaper Black finish. It would be nice to simply send a variety of mags to someone who can then apply that particular finish.
